Hopkins - Floyd is top 3 All Time, better than Leonard, Hagler, Hearns

I personally rate 2 current fighters to be ahead of him in generation but if you think Floyd, that's fine, there is a fine margin but to say he is top 3 all time, above Hagler, Hearns, Leonard....heck both Leonard and Hearns were faster, hit harder, had better ring IQs and were bigger than Floyd. In what way is he better? Please let me know.

I mean I can see an opinion for SRL having better Boxing IQ because he was great but not so much hearns.

and even that is debateable. Just look how well and differently floyd fights people.

I have no problem with people who Rank SRL over floyd but I disagree. I disagree because I he lost to duran in his prime and lost to hagler imo.

Floyd has proven that hes on another level with his dismantling of JMM, corrales, canelo.

resume vs Resume its very hard to put Floyd over SRL but you can make a case for it

when it comes to resume and quality of opponents he's not even top 30. among floyd's opponents, who has a shot to be included in the top 100 atgs? maybe dela hoya...and floyd fought him when he's already out of prime.

floyd's a very skilled fighter but even in that aspect he wasn't really tested. how will his skills measure up against atg level opponents? you'll never find the answer to that because he never did.

no doubt floyd's a very skilled fighter but even an eye test would tell you that skills look better when you're fighting a bum compared to fighting a top fighter. a past prime cotto looked sensational against rodriguez whereas he looked lost sometimes against trout. eye test is deceiving sometimes.

There's a middleweight on Kepler-42C (Cygnus Constellation for the casual boxing fan) who I think would give Floyd a great fight.
