I'm a Floyd Jr. fan and i'm not ashamed to say it. Please tell me what boxer (in recent time) doesn't cherry pick? Is Manny fighting the champ or the contender? Is Manny fighting a Welterweight? Was Sergio's last fight against a champ or a contender? Why is he a middleweight calling out a welterweight? I understand being a hater, but PLEASE at least be consistent!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME.... Floyd will NEVER take on Matthysse after Garcia gets knocked out. Floyd will be ALL about the Alexander/Khan winner... he already tried to get Alexander instead of Guerrero whom he ran from for 12 rounds, but Alexander got hurt training. Floyd has already talked about how much money Floyd could make in the UK with Khan... a glass chin, shot fighter, who can't stay off the canvas these days, and has fought nobody! All Floyd is trying to do is find the softest to complete that contract with Showtime and bank $200M. He won't get Bradley, because after Pacquaio destroys Rios early, Pac will be gunning for the Bradley/Marquez winner, since both ducked a rematch with Pacquiao. This is a no brainer... I'm glad Boxing is beginning to see how Mayweather really is... he came clean and told the world he's about the money and his hand picked opponent, so long as you keep paying. LOL... what a weasel. Have Floyd go up and challenge Gennady... Well floyd definitely will never fight GGG. I don't really disagree with much of what your saying. khan is a huge possibility if he beats devon. i don't think floyd is afraid to fight lucas though especially next because matthysse already has stated he would go up to 47 for it. if floyd signs to fight him though people will complain lucas is too small. the GGG fight no doubt is a fight he could get put to sleep in and floyd's not going to get in the ring with a guy that batters world class light heavies in sparring. i personally think lucas would have a better chance against floyd if he took a fight at 147 first while floyd fought alexander/khan. if he moves up now he will have to adjust to a new weight class and face the best. chino didn't make that step up to well when he fought alexander. i personally rather see a lucas-broner, mayweather-khan/alexander and have those winners face off.

On "Morning Joe" earlier they said ***** "stumbled" into agreeing with the American public that bombing syria is wrong. That is how floyd's critics are, no matter how much they resist.

EVentually, all they will have left is to relitigate castillo floyd 1 and the "mayweather only" thing where they over rank all the the fighters floyd didn't fight.

It's clear that it pains some people that he will retire undefeated.

But they won't admit that they are responsible for what they created. Of course not everybody falls into the same category but starting in 2007:

Oscar De La Hoya - Obviously a fight everybody wanted to see

Ricky Hatton - Huge fanbase in the UK and the public demanded it. Go to YouTube and look at the Brian Kenny interview where he accused him of ducking Ricky Hatton.

Juan Manuel Marquez - This one was questionable at the time but in hindsight it looks a lot better

Shane Mosley - EVERYBODY wanted this fight. No ifs ands or buts about it

Victor Ortiz - This fight got mixed reactions but it had to happen at the time it did. Ortiz was the champion, just beat an undefeated Andre Berto and had the hot hand at the moment at 147.

Miguel Cotto - Another fight with mixed reactions but many approved because it was at 154

Robert Guerrero - I HATED this fight and am on record criticizing it but there were many fans saying "Guerrero has that dog in him. He will bring the fight to Floyd and take him into deep waters in the later rounds. I like this matchup."

Me personally, I would have loved to see him fight Paul Williams after he beat Margarito and Erislandy Lara or Austin Trout instead of Robert Guerrero. But these fighters dismissed by a lot of people as "having no fans", "can't be sold as a PPV" or "overrated hypejobs". I don't even mention the Top Rank fighters because both sides are to blame for that.

It is what it is. Floyd fights the guys that the boxing public (including people on this site) hype up as worthy opponents.

Erik Morales win over Cano for his Vacant title definitely wasn't a cherry pick.

Mares amazing win over Erik Morel was awesome.

These are all amongst they're last 5 fights.

None of those were cherry picks.
