I don't blame you for being upset with Floydfans. I was originally a Floyd & Naseem fan way back in the 90s but when I saw Pac I became a fan of him too. The fact is i'm a boxing fan, I liked Hopkins, Dawson, Roy Jones, Tyson, Morales, JMM and Gamboa. But when it comes to debates I don't let my like for one fighter cloud the truth.

The fact is Pac is being discredited for the two catchweights with Oscar & Cotto. So it's right that you're critizing Floyd for doing catchweights too. That's cool. Just ignore the hate man. You could also argue that Floyd never gave JMM a chance in that catchweight even breaking the agreed stipulation, or that Floyd made Hatton fight him in his comfort weight rather than doing the catchweight giving Hatton NO comfort (that's why I say catchweights is as fair as it'll get between two division champs, and I'd rather have it that way than having one fighter own the full comfort if ya know what I mean).

Fact is Floyd is the undefeated king of the Ring, so if Floyd beats Canelo, give him his due respect.

Ok, so team Canelo mentioned it. Then team Floyd enforced it. But then mr ellerbe probably forgot that it was Floyd's team who stated they'd only fight Canelo at 147.

Floyd has been criticized for his hypocricy. He desreves it. But why use words liek flowmo or deny that Canelo's team said they'd fight below 154?

The facts are that in addition to floyd saying he likes his fighters comfortable and saying he thought Cotto was undefeated because Margs cheated and manny cw'ed him, Canelo's manager said they'd fight below 154. THis isn't cult worship but the truth. So if you are just holding Mayweather to his words, you should have no problem with floyd and his team doing same. Unless holding people to their words is not allowed if you are part of TMT.

we get it, floyd being hypocritical gives you and the rest of his detractors something tangible to criticize him and his fans for. but t least do it credibly and not stretch the truth in an attempt to make it worse.

no it isn't. Floyd does what is in floyd's best interest. Its no different than any other fighter who occupies the top spot in boxing or is an upper echelon earner.

It was in his best interest to elevate Cotto. Its in his best interest to CW Canelo. Simple.

Posters who are looking to criticize floyd for anything are continually pointing out the hypocricy on to this because they think it delegitimizes what they believe will be a floyd victory.

Sorry, but no. Its floyd's hypocrisy himself that has taken the gloss off what should be an easy win. Floyd delegitimizes his own win by saying he would never fight someone at a weight thats not normal for them and then turning around and doing exactly that. Basic stuff.
