When u are talking about professional boxing and we are comparing fighters as professional boxers. Don't talk to me about Kessler cuz Ward beat him with his fist and head. I really don't give Andre much credit for that win. I think Mares' win over Moreno is better then Froch.

If you think Mares resume is better than Ward's, you're in a very lonely minority my man. I'll give you Moreno over Froch because I picked Moreno and am very impressed with his skill-set. Plus, I think Froch is probably the most overrated fighter in oxing right now. As for the excuses you throw out for why you "don't give Ward credit" for beating Kessler. Tthats pure bull****. Ward came into that fight basically an untested prospect and dismantled what was the top fighter in his division. The way you talk, it seems like you're simply not a fan of Ward's style, and that's why you try and discredit his accomplishments. Its understandable. Its ******, but understandable. I'm not a fan of Mares' style. And that's why I constantly pick against him because he doesn't pass my eye test for what a great fighter is supposed to look like. But eventually, I had to step back, put my preferences aside, and give the kid props. It doesn't matter how one does it, if they beat top fighters, that's all that matters.

What Andre has done in the pros is clean out and make a mockery of one of the most stacked divisions in boxing. A lot of folks consider him #1, not #2, due to the quality of opposition and how he's dispatched them. You're welcome to your opinion but you come off as ignorant. I like Abner and going to see him tomorrow but he's very lucky to have an unblemished record at this point in his career. Only reason he got by Abeko in the first fight was the ref turning a Golden blind eye to his repeated low blows.

And what about the ref u did the Kessler fight??? Ward abused him with his head. He didn't hit him as many times as Abner low blowed Agbeko but the fight got stopped cuz of those cuts. Both shoulda been disqualified IMO.

If mares beats both rigo and donaire then yah you can make a strong case for him being #1...but right now his resume doesn't reflect anything near #1... truth is he didn't beat the #1 ranked guy at bantamweight when he was competing at bantamweight..#1 guy was montiel who was unified wbo and WBC bantamweight champ and p4p top ten, and was coming off a big win against former #1 bantamweight champ, hasegawa...mares should have been dq'ed against agbeko in their first fight..I thought darchinyan was robbed..he drew against perez.. and his only legit standout wins are against Moreno and de Leon...

People just overrated mares like crazy...and he is only legitimately a two weight world champ btw...his belt at 122 was completely bogus and a gift..

You're ignorant to Ward's accomplishments in the ring as a pro and what they mean. It's like all the people trying to discredit what GGG is doing. His resume is debatable but that's mainly because top dudes don't want to suffer that. If you know boxing and look at how he fights it's clear that he's not a hype job and loaded with talent. He just hasn't got the right opportunity to prove himself against the top guys like Ward has. How many fighters call out anyone from the division they are in plus the ones below and above them?
