I was gonna bash on Pacquiao for saying it was a LUCKY PUNCH but I guess he didn't really mean it that way. Pacquiao tends to use that word alot as in the fights he has won he has said before in interviews that he is lucky to win a fight. I guess it is just an expression he uses that to him means grateful or something positive. Anyway, if he really wants to fight Marquez he just needs to cave in and let Marquez get the $20,000,000 he DESERVES because after he beats Bradley ( IF he beats Bradley ) he will be the Champion and therefore his purse will get bigger whether it is Pacquiao or another fighter he fights. Don't use the excuse that Marquez is overpricing himself when in reality it is Pacquiao who would be overpricing himself because without Marquez or Mayweather, Pacquiao is no longer relevant to the sport in a way that the interest will not be there for a big ppv buy. If his upcoming fight with RIOS is a dud in ppv buys, then he and Arum will have no choice other than to pay the $20 million to Marquez. ARUM will pay MARQUEZ the $20 million before he gets involved with GBP. After his options are all out regarding pitting Pacquiao with a TR fighter he will then have Pacquiao fight Mayweather or any of the GBP stable.

You are right in the beginning but wrong when you say that Pacquiao is not as relevant. You must understand that he's far more than just a boxer. He's a global celebrity, a politician on his way to becoming a statesman. You will see that his fights will be just as eagerly watched as before.

i think so many were missing the real substance or intent of pac's retort to floyd's calling pac a has been.....that is to dare floyd to go and fight pac....

let us move forward and say in a scenario where both pac and floyd won their fights..and pac calls on pbf again to fight pac the "one dimensional, the midget and now the has been" and floyd again refused.....well how would we look at these two fighters?..

The real scenario is Pac is a desperate on a losing streak looking to cash out on his gullible fans , he wont fight a risk fight because he will lose and that's game over , he wont even fight a WW so they are trying to talk their way into a Floyd fight , no problems pay him what he deserves today , the 50/50 offer that Manny ran away from when the fight was huge has sunk just like Manny did .

If Floyd calls the shots he wont refuse , it would only be because Manny and ol Bob price themselves out when they got nothing to bargain with , Floyd will school the shiiiit out of him and get NO credit at all for it so he may as well make them Pay where it hurts them most .

I've never seen so much crap written about 2 words "lucky punch" especially when Pacquiao tripped over Marquez' boot and fell forward. Regardless of that, even in Middle-East politics I've never seen 14 pages of drek poured out over so little .
