If you don't respect Bradley already, then it's clear you don't like him for whatever reason and nothing will change it..Dude is very accomplished and did it without major backing as many other fighters have had..If you don't respect Bradley, get bent..There's a reason it's called the Bradley Tribe, not the Bradley Nation..
    Good post! Get 'em Rome!

    I saw the same thing.

I believe he should have fought Khan before Pac, as that was the fight the division clamoured for, and considering both Bradley and Khan are past their primes, it's a fight that will never be the global event it could have been.

Still, Bradley is a talented hard-working fighter, but always overrated to a certain extent which showed against Provodnikov.
I have to disagree, Bradley and Khan are not past their prime, also how is it a duck if you fight a better/more dangerous fighter for a bigger purse?

    Exactly.

Scoring is subjective, different judges score fights differently, look for different things, some favor power shots, some favor ring generalship, some number of shots, etc etc, everyone knows this.

It's not a duck if you fight a better opponent. Also, by clean fighter I meant he isn't on PEDs, not that he never headbutts.

      Solid resume: check.
      Good record: check.
      Fan pleasing style: check.
Come forward fighter willing to go toe to toe: check.
      Ducks no one: check.
      Granite chin: check.
      Champion: check.
Been tested in the ring by quality competition: check.
      Professional: check.
      Conditioned: check.
      Clean fighter: check.
      Good defense: check.
      High Ring IQ: check.
      Power: lacking.

Bradley has quality names on his resume, belts, exciting wars under his belt, what more do you want from him? I mean he has more to do obviously, and I expect more from him, but can we stop acting like Bradley isn't a top 10 p4p fighter here? All he does is win and all I hear around here is people taking a dump on Bradley and how he has so much to prove or is a farce. Who's got a good reason to dislike this guy or thinks he isn't as good as his record indicates?

Obviously a list designed to just get as much on there as possible, but even then ive bolded the ones that you can't 'check' for definite, or really have no meaning at all.

Fan pleasing style? The guy isn't exactly a crowd pleaser. This really is a personal opinion, and the majority here I bet would disagree with this one. Bradley and excitement don't often go hand in hand unless he's being beat to a pulp.

He ducked Khan. Argue the technicalities about it all you want. I still don't think he can beat Khan. You need power to beat him, at least a little bit, otherwise you'll make him confident. Like above, you can't put Bradley and power in the same sentence, unless you're saying he has none.

This granite chin thing is interesting, as he doesn't have a granite chin. He has been knocked down, wobbled, the lot. He has great determination to get up and/or stay up, but if you land hard on Bradley, chances are he'll wobble about, as he did many times against Provodnikov. Most fighters would have been stopped if they same happened to them in that fight.

He was a 'champion' at 140 (title holder) and is a 'champion' (title holder) at 147, sure. At 147, he was gifted his title from Pacquiao. He hasn't been a true champion in the sense best of the division, but I don't expect him to personally. Not trying to diminish him here, just hate the word 'champion' been thrown round.

Surely most professional fighters are 'professional'. What does this even mean? Professional in the way he conducts himself? Mayweather doesn't do that. So what is this?

High Ring IQ is great, because the Provodnikov fight showed otherwise. Why did he engage with him after being hit? That isn't high ring IQ at all. That's why he was sent wobbling around the ring.

I won't be surprised if Bradley beats Marquez and not just because Marquez is old, but Marquez ALWAYS looks fantastic when he's in the ring with Manny, but Bradley has the style to beat him in my opinion.

If he does get past Marquez and people still don't respect him it will be a shame, for them.

I respect him as a fighter, I think he has great heart, win or lose. I hate the fanboys who try to argue that he won against Pac, didn't duck or whatever, making him out to be a clear cut candidate for the peoples champ... when he clearly isn't and they're giving him an injustice by arguing so. I love watching Bradley fight, though I wouldn't call myself a fan. Argue about the qualities he has, not the ones you have to twist to try prove some agenda of yours.

If the decision which the extreme majority of people felt was right, was given at the end of the Pac-Bradley fight, he'd be more popular. The boxing world screwed him over by robbing one of the sports move beloved fighters of his title and win, and he didn't make it any better by claiming he won. I think a Pac rematch would do wonders for him. If he wins, then fair enough. If he loses, admit it and honestly noone can really have anything on the guy.

That is a really simply question, I don't understand why you can't grasp the answer lol. Ofc he has the right to say so, but people don't have to like him for it.

I don't expect anything else from you, you have a clear pro-Bradley agenda. Fair enough, but really, don't come attacking me for it. Nothing else really needs to be said with you

                  Bradley SMH.

Beat Marquez, ride out your TR contract then jump ship. You can feast on the 140 pounders moving up once you leave, but in the meantime stay shape, don't get lazy cause of your baby girl, stay behind your speed and stop going to ****ing war all the time, and keep winning.

Your an African American fighter so remember hate come with the territory, but its better to be respected as a winner than liked, because winning keeps you relevant, and that's all you'll need to stay paid.
