He does have a long way to go.

But he is better than Hatton. Hatton was vastly overrated and won most of his fights just being tougher than the other guy. When he fought guys with some boxing skill, he looked terrible.

Rios' boxing skills are a little better and his chin is also prob a little better than Hatton.

Beating the 5-6 ranked Jr WW, who just lost, and arguably lost 2 out of last 3 fights, and is fighting for the first time at 147 does not warrant a fight with Floyd. But Floyd will lose Sept 14th so we might get it but by then will it matter
