Comments Thread For: Rios Not Impressed By Pacquiao's Hatton, Cotto, Oscar Wins

Despite his fight with eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao still well over four months away, former lightweight titlist Brandon Rios has been frequenting the gym in Oxnard, Calif. to keep his body warmed up and his mind sharp.

The fight figures to be an all-action thriller given the fighters’ histories in the ring as well the desperation both Rios and Pacquiao are facing after coming off of losses in their previous bouts.

Both setbacks took place in Las Vegas, as Rios was outpointed by Denver’s Mike Alvarado on March 30th over 12 scintillating rounds inside of the Mandalay Bay while Pacquiao was knocked unconscious by Juan Manuel Marquez in December inside of the MGM Grand.

It's funny people don't give him credit for his wins. Pacman was always the underdog in my eyes since featherweight. He always looked small, even in featherweight. Would never have thought he would dare step in the ring with cotto, hatton and delahoya. Unbelievable considering when I started watching he was fighting larios in Manila.

Not a fan of Rios at all. But one thing I do like is he will throw punches with you. He doesn't just cover up like a Berto or a Broner. If he lands a big punch in between one of Pacs fury's who knows. The fight could get interesting.

This is gonna test Pac to see where he's at.

IF Pac is worn , hurt from that KO, then he will get KO'd again

IF Pac is superman and KO's Rio's then we know he is back to some extent

ain't nobody coming back to their old self,,,,NOBODY !

              This is gonna test RIOS

Two fighters that FIGHT, no ballerina act here, its blood and guts

You pretty boy lovers better not watch this fight you might not be able to handle a mans fight
