    Really?
Paulie is kind of lucky to even still of held that belt when he came across Pablo Cesar Cano, almost got knocked out nearing the end of the fight.
You could easily say Cano done a by far better job on Paulie than Broner did basically well because he did.

Thurman would take Paulie to the cleaners I know that much and I know for a fact he would take Broner right down to the wire.

I believe Bob Arum now when he says he has the better fight in Terrance Crawford, going to have to check out there fight in the amateurs obviously Al Haymon couldn't of protected Broner then.

Chaves certainly could be in for a rude awakening, this will be his first fight in America and he doesn't look anywhere near as big as Thurman...
Most I know is he can punch but he hasn't fought anyone of significant note, Thurman has had better prep for this.
The way I see it, Thurman is a Haymon boxer. To me that means there's a good chance they've invested in him to build another undefeated rising star. On the other hand Chaves is a guy from an Argentine shantydown that fights anything they've put in front of him, including some tough south American fighters that are pretty comeptitive, and the WBC interim title he got without anyone's help.
If anything I see that Chaves has had the harder path while Thurman was given fights to make him look good. Guess we'll see the truth soon enough, they are fighting 2013-07-27
      I'll go with Cahves though.

        Well the fight makes sense...
        Maidana vs Broner

Winner of that defend the WBA title against winner of
        Chaves vs Thurman

I still pray to god that If Broner is going to have a random fight that it is at 140lbs with Lucas Matthysse so we can end this hype train once and for all, maybe even Terrance Crawford at 135lbs.
Argentinians are hard little ****ers though I may not be the biggest fan of them but since seeing Danny Garcia is friends with Broner, total different perspective I want to see Danny and Broner get a nice loss on their record.

Broner change up what? Dude fights 1 way. Anyone who truly believes Browner is gonna stand in front of Truman and shell up with that horrendous workrate is delusional.

            Keith Thurman by KO.

Broner with his overrated defense gets touched up and then KO'd

Broner got it without even being the mandatory just because he brings alot of hype (overrated) call it what you will so you have got to feel a little bit sorry for Thurman not getting his chance.

Keith Thurman is to face the hard hitting Argentinian Diego Gabriel Chaves for the interim WBA title and to be the mandatory for that belt Broner 'won' off of Paulie Malignaggi but at the end of the fight when Jim Grey was interviewing Broner about the fight Broner clearly said
"I just fight whoever is put out infront of me, so I'll let the fans pick my next opponent I'll fight anybody!"
This may bring a little bit of concern to Thurman with Broner mulling over the idea of going down weight to fight a big name like Lucas Matthysse If the statement Broner said is true that is.

Well what do you think is this fair on Thurman or Chaves?
Potentially getting a big fight scrapped because Broner is going to let the "fans" pick his next fight, unfortunately I'm not a fan of Broner so I don't know whether my opinion or the people wanting to see him in the ring with Matthysse will count.
It in my opinion looks like a bit of a duck and I do feel bad for Thurman and Chaves they deserve to be fighting Broner next.
In a perfect world, chaves gets the shot he earned. but remember-thurman nor chaves were in line for the fight. 1st it was Mosley and that broke down because paulie wasn't getting money he wanted.

Paulie took this fight because he got $1.25 mil. a fight with thurman or chaves doesn't bring him anywhere near that much.

posters who don't like Broner are already saying he ducked 140, is ducking matthysse, and ducking etc etc. so if he doesn't fight the winner and you consider it a duck, but othersthink he's ducking the other guys, what can broner do?

Thurman should get a fight with Broner for the welterweight title but he won't get that fight and it's not fair. You can tell who Broner is not going to fight by the obvious opponents that Broner and Schaefer never talk about. When talking about Broner's next fight Schaefer's tongue would fall out of his head before he would say the name Matthysse or Thurman. Golden Boy are not taking any chances of Broner losing a fight. Broner says he will lets the fans pick his next fight. Broner already knows most fans want him to fight Matthysse next but Broner won't even say his name. He won't fight Turman either.

Broner still has a lot to prove. So Broner against any top contender makes sense to me.

Fighting a mandatory is well... as the word says mandatory and you all seen how hungry Thurman is that man deserves a world title shot and I'd be upset for him If he had to fight for the WBA title If Broner decides to vacate it he deserves that pay-day.
I'm not totally ruling Chaves out but obviously when you look at who's made the most noise well it doesn't lie not many people have heard of the kid.

In a Ideal world (which doesn't exist) Broner will fight the winner of Chaves vs Broner and Danny grows a set of balls and steps in the same ring with Lucas Matthysse then the whole he ducked him and so on wont happen but unfortunately I don't see it happening.

Make no mistake though Broner likes this position he is in though, loads of people are echoing out his name but for the wrong reasons.
"You'll all be Broner fans at the end of the night!"
Referring to his fight with Paulie Malignaggi before it happened, somehow I don't think so.

I cant see thurman and broner fighting next. I can see Thurman and Broner on the floyd v. garcia/matthyssee winner in May on the undercard.
