Absolutely no head movement from angulo. He just comes straight forward that's y this happened. Didn't move his head and kept getting punched in the same spot over and over until this happened.

Is it the same thing that happened to Margarito. Also what's the story with him being put in the detention centre?
Idk the whole story behind his issue with immigration. I'm not sure if he was trying to sneak his family in the US or just residing here illegaly. Don't quote me on any of that... Lol.

Great fight! Lara was tagging Angulo's face at will & Angulo was mutilating Lara's body & dropped Lara with 2 devastating left hooks that would have stopped many fighters! But Lara recuperated well & even thou he gasping air threw his mouth he didn't stop throwing & moving around & stopped Angulo with a cracking straight left punch! No thumb will make that whole area balloon up like that & won't break or fracture an orbital bone & plus they were using thumb less gloves.. For those that don't know, even thou you could see thumbs on the gloves they are sowed on in a way to avoid a fighter from thumbing his opponent..

Anyone else think that Virgil Hunter was acting a little crappy? He's like the little boy who cries wolf, in the Mike Dallas fight he accused of Matthyse of taking PEDs in front of Hunter and held the fight up, and here he accuses Lara of thumbing the bone area (Lara was wearing thumbless gloves). I'm beginning to think Hunter is a dirty tactician.

I had a good time at the fight even though ANGULO did not win. He put up a great performance. He knocked LARA down TWICE (The FIRST and SECOND time lara has been down in his career). It was awesome to see LARA's boxing skills in person. I really thought ANGULO would catch him at the end. Overall it was a competitive fight. I don't really think ANGULO's stock went down with this loss. Hopefully his eye is okay and we see him in action pretty soon.
I'm praying MATHYSSE/GARCIA gets done and signed for the STAPLES center so I can see another all out war in person.

Wikipedia says that Angulo was living in the US with an expired workers visa. While a year long jail time does seem excessive, I do know that US immigration takes a very strong no-tolerance stance on foreign visitors overstaying their Visas. Basically they don't want foreigners to come into America on a tourist or workers visa, then squat here as illegal residents. Angulo is a perfect example of that. It makes sense, but the punishment does not. 12 months in prison seems excessive especially when the taxpayers have to foot the bill.

I understand it still goes down as a win, but the him and the Watson family looked like a kids on Christmas morning. It was freaking pathetic. Oh, Angulo just mopped the floor with our guy but yippy we win! I freaking hate those guys. Not taking anything away from Lara, just inappropriate given the beating he was receiving.
