      At age 45, I try not to play the "my generation was better" game with my 22 yr. old son. Not long ago, we talked about his hip-hop vs. my era. I didn't lose it, but when he said that Ali was no different than Floyd Jr., I had to give him the business! I felt like a failure as a father for him to even say something that ******! I love Floyd Jr., but he's no Ali.

                i would argue that ali is the most important and significant athlete ever-only pele and maybe jesse owens even belong in the discussion.
