IMO Mayweather is a great fighter but the only reason he's undefeated is because he doesn't take any risks. If you fight the best on even terms you will eventually lose.

It's true. You argue he's smart though. He's boxing's biggest name and sport's richest competitor and he got there by making his own decisions on who he fights. Almost every boxer would swap places with him.

May fought Cotto and DLH @154 because he said he likes fighting fighters at their best but he will not fight Canelo @154. I also don't think Marquez was @ his best when Mayweather fought him. Big difference, May wanted DLH's crown and spotlight, May also called out DLH that's why he fought on DLH's terms and conditions. Also Cotto never called out May, May wanted Cotto's title and he chose to fight Cotto because options were limited. Now Canelo has called out may, the P4P, payper view king, and cash cow. When you do that, you fight on that fighter's terms. Example Dawson vs Ward, Hatton vs May, Marquez vs May, Mosley vs May, Hagler vs Hearns. I can keep going, it has always been like this, led by Sugar Ray Leanord, Heck Ali when he was known as Cassius, had to give in the Sonny Liston's terms in the 1st fight, one of those request was a very small ring. Hagler even though he was the middle weight champ, had to give into Ray Leonard's terms, because Ray was the star. The ring was big as heck, the gloves were chosen by ray too. Bhop vs Tito, Bhop was the middle champ, but Tito was the star, Tito once again chose a smaller ring, and also got the bigger purse. DLH vs Pac, DLH called out and went down to 147, something he hasn't done @ that time in over 10yrs. Point is Canelo called out May, so why does May have to give into him, when May has clearly stated recently he's not comfortable @ 154, it's evident in both his fights vs DLH & Cotto.

Mayweather doesnot look as great at 154 than 147...he is the king and if they want the throne you have to either come down or come up to where the kingdom is and that is at 147

Didn't floyd say he wants to fight fighters at there comfortable weight no catch weight like PAC? Didn't Floyd have two fights at 154? People need to just stop watching his fights.

Mayweather made his speech about fighting Cotto at his best weight to make his win over Cotto seem better than Pacquiao's ko over Cotto a few years earlier. I think Floyd will give up weight if he is sure he will win. He knew Oscar was past prime and he could spot Oscar the weight and still beat him. He knew Cotto was just an overweight welterweight that had seen better days and he could beat him. In spite of the whole Mayweather clan saying Floyd could beat Canelo with no problems Floyd is not sure he can beat this young powerhouse. Canelo has wanted to fight Floyd for well over a year now. If Floyd was going to fight him he would have fought him on May 4th instead of Guerrero. Canelo brings in far more money than Guerrero or anyone else Floyd could fight. Mayweather's last five fights will be with welterweights or Jr. welterweights. Floyd insisting that Canelo make a weight he can't possibly make is Floyd's way of saying he is not going to fight Canelo. I have no problem with Mayweather staying at 147 if he gives up his WBA 154 pound superchamp title he got for beating Cotto so that Canelo can be the full WBA 154 pound champ.

How will floyd be at his best going againt a guy that out ways him 17 plus pounds on fight night if he fight at 154 floyd the p4p king if canelo really wanted come down to get it he have youth on his side fight night he still will weigh every bit of 160

Calm down the fights not gonna be at 147. Floyds just doing what hes suposed to do and thats testing the limits. Its psychological warfare. The negotiations, the trash talk, training camp hell at that **** matters.
