Is this of any significance for Manny's legacy

The fact remains that Manny Pacquiao has NEVER undergone any testing more stringent than commission mandated. How it will refelct on his carreer, I couldn't say. But someone (Evol, I think), asked why he should do it other than for a Mayweather fight? Well maybe he could've done it to pay more than lip service to the whole idea of more stringent testing. It would have served a purpose going into the fourth Marquez fight in that he would've had less doubt in his mind about Marquez. The pulling up of articles and random youtube skits wouldn't be necessary if Pacquiao actually started DOING more stringent testing rather just talking about it.

As for it not being an issue elsewhere in boxing? Did people already forget the Donaire/Rigondeaux build up and Donaire's demand that Rigo take more stringent testing? He (Donaire) hadn't made it mandatory to previous opponents, but suddenly he does for Rigo. I don't disagree with that, because he should ask for the same assurance he gives his opponents in a fight of such magnitude. It also can't be ignored that it would've been an issue had there been a fifth bout with Marquez.

You can trawl through all the timelines, articles and videos you want, but the fact remains that Manny Pacquiao has never undergone ANY kind of stringent drug testing. That is a fact and it is undisputed.

Man on Street: just say yes next time.

Donaire specifically said the reason he made is mandatory was A) Rigo agreed and B) with Gamboa, also in Miami, and others testing positive recently, he had to change things. He didn't make it mandatory for Rigo, he made Rigo's agreement to it mandatory.

Another one for Kindergarten Dunn. "Yes", also means AGREEMENT.

as for the marriage analogy it was made because when you answer a yes/no question with anything other than yes its usually interpreted as no. yet in this context manny fans treat it as yes.
Because they didnt ask him will u agree to ost yes or no, they asked him what about random blood test, so of course he's gonna say no problem. Stop trying to beat on a dead horse.

You make my point in that Donaire changed his stance because he felt it necessary, not just because Rigondeaux agreed.

You also make my point that 1) it is a big issue other than in Mayweather/Pacquiao debates and 2) it is more than just about Donaire proving himself clean, it's about reassuring a level playing field.

That still doesn't change the fact that Pacquiao has NEVER taken part in srtingent drug testing.

But Pac has already done more than just about every titlist in Boxing, he agreed to all tests for a fight which very few of the many champs in Boxing have done. I can name a ton of champs right now as little as Flyweight Roman Gonzalez all the way to Heavyweight Vitali who I think turned down Povetkin on the basis of testing. Pac is no better, no worse....just targetted due to false accusations.
