You can't claim fighters from elsewhere as being from your state/city. Floyd Mayweather isn't a Las Vegas fighter....he's from Grand Rapids, Michigan.

That's like a Bay Area Fan claiming Amir Khan because he trains in Oakland now. He's a UK fighter until the day he retires. Guerrero, Ward, Nonito, Mayfield...these are examples of Bay Area fighters. I'm not saying dont rep your local gym or fighters training there but your list is about as Oxnard as Malignaggi and Quillen are to being Los Angeles.

There is alot of MMA guys that train at Jackson's gym in Albuquerque. Doesn't mean I can claim Jon Bones Jones, Rashaad Evans, or St. Pierre as being Albuquerque fighters. That's just ******.
