Actually, movement isn't always relevant to what some thing like Rigo did just recently. In his earlier fights, Mayweather moved his feet better, especially when setting up the counter shots going backwards.

Take the Hatton fight for example, that wasn't that long ago and he moved very well in luring Hatton in for big shots.

Against Cotto, his movement was more within him defending behind the shoulder roll and sitting on the ropes more than we are used to seeing. Movement doesn't have to be what Rigo does, or Loche or Pep. It can be simple movement of the legs when pulling back for his classic "pull counter". He didn't do it as much and most people saw that.

It's the reason that Guerrero said that his legs aren't the same and I agree.

Rounds sometimes are just merely points racking up ,you can lose 12 rounds and be in a life and death fight .

Cotto was competitive the whole way and never fliyd to just cruise in relax mode ,made him stay focused ,training shows floyd is getting touched , i expect a fight that merits a rematch

You are correct and it was a very competitive fight until the last 3-4 rounds IMO. Floyd landed a beautiful uppercut in the last round that really hurt Cotto. He was hesitant to throw it early on because that would have opened him to a left hook but he did it in space and that was the difference.

This will be an easier fight than Cotto.

People aren't giving Cotto enough credit. He's better than Guerrero.

I don't think there's any real reason for Mayweather getting beat up against Cotto, other than Cotto had a sick ass doubble popping jab!

Interesting video but I think there's one factor you've overlooked - has Floyd actually slowed down and could that be the reason he's unable to perform like he did before? Just a slight reduction in speed could potentially make a huge difference in ability to perform certain techniques in a fight. Look to Judah for some similarities. So it may be that Floyd is pandering to bloodthirsty fans or it could be that he has actually slowed down... Do we know for sure?

i like the fact that Floyd Sr is slowing him down a bit in training....he looked overtrained for the Cotto fight.

well people say he slowed down because they refuse to watch fights. for example as i already pointed out in this thread put people hate facts and worse dont watch fights, Mayweather fought Corley, Judah, Mosely and others flat footed... he was not old then. It's just the style he chose to fight.

My issue is Mayweather should go back to controlling every aspect of the fight and dominating guys not feeding into this ignorant media and fan bs.

I just think he started caring what people say and he should go back to not caring. Facts are facts
