so what your saying is that floyd has to be outweighed by 20 -25lbs in order for the other guy to have a "chance""peeleft:
I'm not saying what you are saying. Canelo complained that losing the weight was the hardest part of his training camp. So I take his word over yours!

There was a fight on Showtime last year where one guy was clearly drained. He was clearly not the same fighter even though he gained weight back on fight night. So where one thinks they see an advantage, it's possible that it's actually not.

personally, I didn't think Canelo was ready for Floyd but given that it happened, all that I asked was for 2 title holders to fight at the limit. You said so yourself that Canelo came in at 172. So you are expecting him to get down to 152 easily? Well, it wasn't easy

while your making excuses and sounding lame you do realize that floyd does not rehydrate he fights at his walking around weight.

if canelo fought as hard as he complained he might have done something in the ring, hence we have more excuses coming from lames like yourself. dont make excuses man up

Maybe you missed it bud, but my point was that Floyd had all the cards on his side already yet Floyd still tried to remove Canelo's sole advantage. Both had titles at 154, so why the CW?

If you read my previous posts, my points were reiterated by Showtime commentators and even Floyd's camp.

This was a good thread for laughs, Floyd haters are some of the best.

So you give Mayweather credit for beating a Mosley coming off a "great victory" over a plasterless Margarito yet you **** on Pacquiao's because he beat him when he no longer had plaster? And until proven otherwise, Margarito is levels above Canelo as a fighter.

Also, I believe what some of the posters meant when making those comments in the first few pages is that Mayweather would not fight a healthy Canelo. Nobody would've ever imagined he would drain his opponent given the fact that he critized Pac so much about it. Using his logic, he never defeated Canelo, in fact Canelo is still undefeated.

And while we're at it why give Mayweather any credit for the Cotto win, a guy already ****d by Margs and Pac?Ortiz win? He had already been ****d by Maidana? Why give him credit for the Guerrero win, a guy that was already beaten by Gamaliael "bum" diaz? In fact why even give him the Genaro fight if he was already brutalized by DLH before? This are just a few of his top wins off the top of my head.

if you thought the same way about Swift in regards to Lucas....then that was a real ego crushing night...huh?!?....it's all good though, can't always see through the fog of hate that's in the air whenever Floyd is mentioned around here.....in the NSB hood he's labeled as a coward but always end up fighting the dudes his hate base said he wouldn't....the NSB fog machines be distorting average posters' vision....we need to make donations to the Fog Victims so I approve the appropriate manner in which this thread was bumped!!

That's the thing though....every boxers resume can be nitpicked....the fact of the matter is that Pacquiao's resume>>>>>>Mayweather's resume. More depth to it and more impressive wins. A poll was even created here a while back asking who had the better resume and Pac was the winner by a wide margin, and rightfully so.
