No doubt, what’s funny is everyone cried that he only fights smaller fighters. Well Puali is 5'9.

This is Broner's, Pac vs the cowardly bum-**** Margarito. Pauli can't punch (like a plaster-less Margartio) but can take a massive beating that will make Broner look good.

However Puali has speed and can actually move.

The general boxing fan has been gradually conditioned to think that sucessfully jumping weight classes here and there is a better achievement than being dominant in your own or most recent division, which isnt always true. However, i can see their logic in choosing this fight, the risk/reward value that will come from going up two weight classes to fight a good but very beatable champion.

Ill be interested to see what they weigh on fight night, because I dont think there will be much difference between them when the bell rings, not only in terms of weight on paper but functional weight also.

Agreed. However, I'm fine with this fight. As long as it doesn't become a trend for Broner. There's too much talent at 140, so I expect him to deal with that afterwards.

I don't quite see it the same. I thought Margarito (even minus the plaster) presented more of a threat to Pacquiao then Paulie does to Broner.

Sure, Margarito is very one-dimensional, but he applies a tremendous amount of pressure. He also had what I would call a significant height and weight advantage over Manny (who I still consider a natural 140 lber).

Going into that fight I felt that there was always the possibility that he could hurt Pacquiao if he could find him. And he did hurt Pacquiao pretty badly, imo, in the sixth round. There were reports that Manny was hospitalized for days after the fight.

I honestly don't see anything that Paulie possesses that will create any real problems for 'The Problem'. But I think it's a good fight, all things considered.

Let's just put it this way, I would be far more shocked if Paulie beats Broner than I would have been if Margarito pulled off the Pacquiao win.

Paulie's big wins are against :
            Edner Cherry - 21-4
            Louvermore Ndou - 46-9
            Herman Ngoudjo - 16-1
            Juan Diaz - 35 -2
            Orlando Lora - 28 -1
            Vyacheslav Senchenko - 32-0
            Pablo Cesar Cano - 25-1

These are some pretty good guys

            Broner's resume (big wins):

            Daniel Ponce Deleon 41-2
            Jason Litzau 28-2
            Elloy Perez 23-0
            Vicente Escobedo 26-3
            Antonio DeMarco 28-2
            Gavin Rees 31-2

            Decent opposition -

Good fight eirther way and should be a test, Paulie is pretty durable and crafty.

Wow now Paulie is mainly known as the "weakest Champion"? Paulie has been winning without a punch on the big stage for awhile now cause he knows punching is not his game. Hes crafty, fast, can take punch, and is 2 divisions higher. Its a good test for Broner and will not be as easy as some think.

I like paulie but he isn't even in the top 10 for his weight. he can beat specefic styles still. senchenko and I'd pick him over zaveck as well.

He will present broner with troubles perhaps at times. but he will out point him I doubt he gets the ko but he will win nearly every round

I actually think paulie has a good chance...has sturdy beard good movement above average boxiing skilss +the x factor paulie wont quit plenty of heart for a slick boxer..broner hasnt faced someone who can match his skills (although still rough around the edges) paulie took a beating from cotto and cotto had to be 10xs the punchrr as broner..real 50/50 fight...based on grading fighters without hating or d riding i say paulie will give broner fits in the early rounds broner will adjust to his lateral movement and angles in the middle while the later half will favor the veteren pugalist ...broner by highly controversial sd!!!!

broner is a big chicken for skipping 140, malignaggi is on a slide down. this fight won't sell
