If the fight never happens Floyd is the one who will be dogged the rest of his life as to why he never fought Pacquiao, not the other way around.

This is a great idea. The 80s had Duran, hearns, Leonard and hagler. All fought each other with wins and losses. losses don't mean squat, boxing is about the best fighting the best for the fans.

May weather vs Pac still needs to happen. Just because Marquez beat Manny and Floyd beat Marquez doesn't mean squat. Styles make fights and that fight is still the biggest.

If they really wanted to make us happy put Marquez vs Rios on the same card!

First, Pacquiao is already an all time great. He is past prime and what happens when a fighter is past prime has little effect on his all time great rating. When you are already considered an all time great you don't lose that status from past prime defeats. For example Roy Jones has lots of past prime defeats by KO. Still few would argue that in his prime Roy Jones was one of the best fighters in history. As for Marquez he is in a good position to get more money than before in a 5th fight with Pacquiao but he can't get to carried away with that. Pacquiao is still a much bigger draw than Marquez. Pacquiao can still make big money fighting lots of guys while Marquez can only make really big money with Pacquiao. My guess is when Marquez finds out what he can get paid fighting anyone else but Pacquiao he will take the 5th Pacquiao fight. Marquez might get as much money as Pacquiao but he won't get more than Pacquiao. That may not seem fair but that's the way it is. If Pacquiao was to defeat Mayweather it would raise his all time great position but he is already considered an all time great by most fans and experts alike if he never fights Mayweather.

Have no idea who this Larry X, Larry ALT guy is.... but it sounds to me like he must have a decent head on his shoulders if you say he thinks like me.

Larry X...... look up the tacoboxer.... maybe we can have an intelligent chat because I'm certainly not getting it here!!!

funny shit. pacquiao is already on an ATG and close to surpassing ali and sugar ray robinson's GOAT status. mayweather is perhaps a below average ATG at best

After getting knocked out at age 33.... GOAT is a pipe dream!!!!

Educate yourself on the history of boxing....

Ali lost to Frazier at age 29.... then never lost to him again.... loss avenged
Ali lost to Norton at age 31... then took back the title 6mo later... loss avenged
Ali lost to Spinks at age 36... 7mo later beat him by UD... loss avenged

It wasn't until Ali was almost 39 years old that time caught up with him and he lost to Holmes

And forget about any comparisons to SRR.... he had 131 wins by 1952 before retiring the 1st time at the age of 31 (having already fought some of the legends of the *********). He fought 19 times in 1951!!!

At age 34, he came back to the ring fighting 63 more times over a ten year period until retiring at age 44.

Get your head out of your @$$ comparing Pacquiao either of these guys!!!!
