Marquez will always get a big pay da whoever he fights next, so if he looks at it that way, He might lose a few mill not fighting pac again but he will still gain mils with his next opponent. Id be down for a 5th one but he would be smart go out like a don and call it case closd.

Possibly he's turned into a ppv star after Pac 4. Still hard to see him making half of what he makes vs Pac next against anyone other than Floyd, and even that'd be less for a tougher fight.

Where are people getting this ''Pacquiao gave him 4 chances'' tripe from?

Marquez v Pacquiao I= Pacquiao fighting for Marquez's belt. The fight also ended in a draw meaning a rematch is a natural occurrence neither fighter is being generous.

Marquez v Pacquiao II= Marquez was the champ going into that fight and it was a fight between the no. 1 and no. 2 ranked fighters in the division. Pacquiao didn't do Marquez any favours in accepting the fight, he actually had more to gain going into that fight. The fight result was a controversial split decision.

Marquez v Pacquiao III= Pacquiao cherry picked Marquez. He didn't take the fight out of the goodness of his own heart, he took the fight so that he could look good TKOing a fighter Mayweather went the distance with. Unfortunately for Pacquiao he got schooled and won the fight via robbery.

Marquez v Pacquiao IV= Is the only fight where I'd say Pacquiao gave Marquez an opportunity to vindicate himself but ( as mentioned earlier) he was morally obliged to do so as there was uncertainty surrounding his last victory. There's no uncertainty surrounding Marquez win, he put Pacquiao into the ground.

Marquez was always being looked over by the other bigger names in those divisions, such as Barrera, Morales and when Manny beat Barrera and continued later beating those names and more, he grew bigger than Marquez.

Think of it this way. Ortiz had the belt after beating Berto. I'm sure that you would look at it that Floyd is giving Ortiz the opportunity to fight Floyd than the other way around. Right?

Fight 1: It was a draw because 1 judge forgot how you score knock downs. So Marquez should have had a loss.

After that, Marquez was seen by many as the one being more obsessed with the fight than Manny since Manny was getting bigger and bigger in name.

I loved the 4th fight. Wish we'd see a 5th. He decisively beat Pacquiao so I completely see where he is coming from, but at the same time, Pacquiao has rematched him more than once and was performing well, himself, before the KO. Hope it still happens.

I think Marquez should give Pacquiao a rematch, but #4 was the definitive answer. But if he continues his career, then Pacquiao deserves the rematch for the simple fact that he gave Marquez plenty of chances when he didn't have too.

Look at all the floydiots in this thread. Hehe... They're content with their idol ducking fights. It's okay to see someone else's idol beat the Pacman. Makes sense, in a way. My idol is safe and sound. Doens't have to do anything. Floyd "Money" Mayweather prefers to give up $150 million for an easy fight. Health comes first.

I mean I can't imagine myself gloating over a fight my idol ducked. Let's say Pacquiao ducked Floyd and Floyd got KOed by another fighter.
