I was going to do a like for like description of Pacquiao's career since moving up from 135lbs. List all the credible wins against welterweights and above and how many of them hadn't already beenrecently beaten (by Mayweather, ironically, or someone else), how many weren't tainted by catchweights and how many welterweights he's actually fought recently considering he IS campaigning there right?
But I think the better thing to do, is admit Mayweather could've made different choices and maybe his resume might be better. Fighting Cotto in '08 and fighting Margarito would make things better in some people's eyes. Maybe However, Tszyu should be left well out of it.... unless someone can tell me when he and Mayweather were realistically supposed to fight.
One more thing, can the thread starter or someone else say why they think Mayweather's career north of 135lbs is so much worse than Pacquiao's that it merits yet another thread while Pacquiao escapes similar analysis?
