I think this is a good fight for awhile. Wlads skill and size will give Toney fits for awhile. In the end, Toney will outlast Wlad and TKO him in the later rounds. Toney is too skilled and too tough. Toney will show Wlad things in the ring that he has never seen before......slipping punches, counter punching, etc
Toney may outlast him but he's not TKOing him. No way. Toney is a powerful middleweight puncher, and Wlad's "weak" heavyweight chin can deal with whatever Toney throws. No to mention, there's no way Toney will hit Wlad enough with Wlad's size and Toney's workrate to even cause a TKO.
Toney by UD, I don't think Toney will even be able to land enough punches on Wlads chin with authority because of his height, but he will hit body all day long..
It's a tough one to pick. Wlad packs a punch and Toney doesn't have enough power to KO or even KD Wlad even with his chin. Wlad has never been in the ring with someone that has Toney's skills and Toney has never been in the ring with someone that has Wlad's power. I don't believe that Wlad has a stamina problem and neither does Toney, as long as he comes in shape. It's a pickem fight and a great one to watch, I think.
I'm going to say Toney loses a controversial decision. He'll feel that his bodywork and late-rounds rally should have won him the fight, and that Wlad's jab (which won't land very much) and clinching on the inside were just not good enough.
I also feel this is a very boring fight. I don't think Wlad will be confident enough to try to beat Toney on the inside and watching a guy throwing punches that miss all night is just not what I call exciting.
Of course, if Toney comes forward all night, I think he gets inside, and makes it a street fight. Wlad will be out of his element, feel that he's losing and get his corner to stop it.
