Oh yeah Michael Koncz the "independent" adviser of Manny Poochiao who gets paid by both Poochiao AND Top Rank?

Those naughty auditors that found that were soon replaced by more "reliable" ones hand selected by Bob Arum.

Wonder if Poochiao is ever going to get around to paying that bill for his auditors, they are suing him you know.

This is not true. Look at manny.

In fact, the biggest names in the sport who sold themselves were rarely the most exciting fighter during their era.

I'd go as far as to say that crowd pleasing boxers have underdeveloped selling skills. They don't have a need to. Many have laborer mentality in regards to boxing; if I work hard to make it a bloody battle, everyone will tune in by default.

When BHop promoted himself none of the major promoters would do business with him and he was stuck fighting C- level opposition. It really takes a superstar to get around the oligopoly that is boxing.

Yeah look at Wlad, well he used to be exciting before steward (RIP) but now days as much as I try to like him he is just boring as hell and even off US TV for the most part but he makes a fortune in Germany.

It doesnt seem to be based on skill or fighting style. Seems to be based on "charisma" and business sense.

Ward doesnt get paid proportional to his level of skill. Also sometimes if you come from the wrong country that isnt big on boxing you get screwed too. If Martinez was mexican, american or british he would be worth way more today.

Pac has once again single handedly sold more PPV's in one year than Floyd and GBP's PPV's COMBINED

Pac will be the biggest cash cow the sport has ever seen and Top Rank is the best promoter right now. If it aint broke don't fix it
