The day a 45 year old
    light heavyweight knocks
you down is the day you
    should be erased from
    the hall of fame.

Bull****, Archie moore is a powerful man who was blessed with the ability to fight well past his prime. Marciano lacked natural ability, but HE WAS TOUGH, sports science and new training methods have been discovered recently, but modern boxers still lack toughness. Marciano had stamina, he was tough and he would persistantly punch and wear his oppponents down. He deserves his rank as the 3rd best ever.

he is definetely not the third best ever. there are considerably more than just two hw's that are better than him.

because he would, it's common sense.

[QUOTE=butterfly1964]so louis, charles, walcott, moore, lastarza was as good as foreman, frazier, norton, chuvalo, liston, quarry, lewis, holyfield, shavers, cooney, ect, ect, ect...[/QUOTE

All of those fighters were very good fighters. Smaller men, but I would definitely not say lesser men.

Louis was so washed up he
had a bald spot on his head
                    when he fought Slopiano.
                    Louis was the most washed
                    up ex champ in history
cuz he had to serve is WW2
it took alot of his energy away.
Louis was coming off KO wins when he fought the rock, ****** ****.
What were Larry's fights like before he fought Tyson?
                    Rocky had a padded record?
What the **** do you call Tyson's record?
And Tyson couldn't even manage to keep it undefeated
                    the way the rock did.
Rocky fought everyone of any significance there was to fight in
his era. When fights got rough, he got rougher.
When Tyson's fights got rough, he layed the **** down like
a *****. Tyson's claim to fame is the "what if" question that
will always be asked about him. What if he wasn't ****ed up in the head?
What if he didn't get a kick out of robbing old ladies and raping women?
What if he had the dicipline to train himself into some kind of shape?
What if he had a ****ing heart?
Tyson will always be remembered as one of the biggest disapointments in the history of boxing, in and outside of the ring, and the rock will always be a legend, get the **** over it.
Your feeble attempts at attacking Rocky's resume and skills won't change the fact that Tyson was never able to acheive his potential because he's a mental midget, and now he's shot to **** and it's too late.
