I was sure Cotto would KO this guy. But Trout is legit. And Miguel is done. So sad, I would hate to see him go out this way but it's best that he hangs 'em up now.

Paulie is usually good at calling fights, but he's always big upped Cotto, probably because he looked good and won a lot of fans in that defeat.

Paulie once said that Cotto was really undefeated, because both the guys he lost to (Marg and Pac) were cheating when they fought.

I just get the feeling the Cotto praise from Malignaggi has more to do with him not wanting to feel inferior for losing to Cotto, like maybe he's convinced himself that Cotto is the absolute s**t. I guess, maybe it comes from his fighter mentality. I feel like that could explain that Pac and Marg are cheaters and Cotto is undefeated nonsense. But I'm just speculating.

Even though I've always loved Cotto (no ****) Trout did his thang and I'm happy for him, gotta big up a New Mexico native!

I think Trout could have done a bit more, and he needs to work on sitting down on his punches a bit more. But I really liked how he closed out the show in 11th and 12 round in another guy's adopted backyard. Trout-Canelo let's make it happen for March!

I think the old 30's-50's radio broadcasters were a hell of a lot better than what we have now. Those guys could paint a perfect picture of the fights, without all the bulls**t network bias we have to listen to now, and they didn't even need video to do it.
