Sturm's a pretty decent fighter, very technical, has a good jab. he should give Taylor some trouble who has a bad habit of dropping his left like some sort of a measuring stick.

interesting fight, i hope they juke it out next year.
Yeh, but he's not fighting Oscar. Oscar's the biggest non-heavyweight star around, and Sturm got the kinda money that dictates. Taylor isn't, so Sturm should settle for what I think is a very fair amount in 750,000.

a pretty good match-up but i don't think sturm would win this one. he had a chance against dlh and the judges gave it to oscar (too bad for him). now he's going to fight jermain, maybe he thinks he's got a chance and he's right, he got a chance but that remains to be seen. jermain is a lot bigger than dlh, who knows what problems it would posts if he's facing a bigger and of his own size. i could hardly wait, interesting match-up for us to see, boxing fans!!

These two have fought already in Olympic boxing, and Taylor made Sturm look bad.

Since then however I have seen more improvement in Sturm.

If it's in Germany, I'm taking Sturm by UD.

I think Taylor will win by a wide UD, maybe even a KO. Sturm is a good fighter, but DLH was so cut up that he performed so badly against him because in Oscar's words Sturm is 'an ordinary fighter'. After being in there against him DLH could feel that he could and should have done better. Taylor has just beaten the guy that was p4p the best and pretty much untouchable - he needs to get some more respect for the wins and I can't see Sturm causing him too many problems

I would favor Taylor in this fight but I don't think it will be a blowout by any means. Having just recently watched Sturm's fight with Delahoya he did alot more than jab. It's true about half his punches were jabs but he threw and landing some good right hands and lefthooks. The final numbers were 112 jabs and 122 power punches so he wasn't all jabs in there. I wouldn't give Taylor that much of an edge in speed either. Jab for jab Taylor may get the better but he has also shown that he is open for the jab as well. Sturm has a very good jab and we all know Taylor is wide open to the righthand and Sturm also has a very good righthand.

In the end I think Taylor may prove to be the stronger fighter and come out with a close unanimous decision.

I say Taylor wins in controversial fashion.

this will be an easy fight for Taylor. He was a lil timid of Hopkins skill so he held back alot, he will not do this with sturm and beat him as he did to Joppy

If Sturm's people still say he's not ready, Sturm will be labled a *****, because Taylor is just as young as him.

The battle of the jabs (Winky vs. Sturm) may be better than some people may think..

*****g Winky in Sturms category is a little unfair. Sturm seems to have more of an offense and isnt nearly as boring.
