        Sturm has been offered?

Where are the haters who said Taylor is undeserving because he didn't fight Sturm.

Let me see what Sturm has to say on this. I don't want to hear an excuse that the offer is not good enough. The mere fact that Taylor is now the undisputed Champ, Sturm should jump on this opportunity being given to him.(if he has the balls)

Oh Winky? Patience amigos. A taylor and Winky fight will happen before 2006 ends.

I literally finished watching Oscar-Sturm five minutes ago. I had the fight 116-112 for Felix. Taylor is stronger than Oscar which will help but I don't think he'll show the body committment Oscar showed. Sturm was kinda screwed here in Vegas (and people ***** about scoring in Germany). I think I'd lean towards Taylor winning but I bet its close and hats off to hbo if they get us Toney-Rock and Taylor-Sturm for free in the spring of 06

Good you reviewed the Sturm/DLH fight. How many times did you see Sturm threw a combination?

Sturm clearly won that fight but it's because he out jabbed DLH the whole fight.

                hmm

Sturm is a good fighter. He has technical skills and pretty good intelligence. I think he's a top 5 middleweight.

That said, all this fight will be (if Sturm is brave enough to sign) is a strong statement for Taylor that will show why he can dominate the division for years to come (if he can keep making 160).

He'd have to drop in some nice rights over Jermains jabs to get JTs respect though. It would be an interesting bout.
If Hopkins couldn't beat Taylor by getting his respect, neither will Sturm. Sutrm has to move, move, move in order to beat Taylor. Jab vs. Jab, Taylor's is better. Sturm has to get on his bicycle, make Taylor lead and counter him. And at the end of the day, I'm betting it isn't gonna work.

He had an injury back in November. As I recall, it turned out to not necessitate surgery. He should be healed in time. And he'll prolly take it.

dunno if 750K is a good nuff money to motivate Sturm to cross the pond, how much money did he get fighting Oscar?

Sturm's a pretty decent fighter, very technical, has a good jab. he should give Taylor some trouble who has a bad habit of dropping his left like some sort of a measuring stick.

interesting fight, i hope they juke it out next year.
