Floyd is Floyd, he had the spot for the longest and regardless how people feel about Ortiz and Cotto they both held titles and were ranked in their divisions. Floyd is the best and should not be disputed but Ward is creeping up. Martinez moved up to 160 and beat the real champ at Middle weight and has KO'd his last 4 opponents and beat the only other recognize champ in the division Chavez Jr in a shut out with exceptions to the last round. Like I said, I like Donaire as a fighter and think he has great potential but to put him above any of those guys so early in his career is not right in exact. There is an argument for Pacquiao because he hasn't looked impressive at all in his last two fights. Got 1 gift decision and lost another controversial decision but didn't look good doing it even though many thought he won. Pac has been having fighters move up and down weight to make him look good BUT Pacquiao still has a history longer than Donaire so let them fight for the 5th slot. JMM should be above Pacquiao and Donaire.
based on that logic, ortiz ,chavez junior, kessler etc were the same level as
floyd , martinez and ward..

People are talking about a multitude of good fights avail for donaire, while its hard to find a credible opponent for Ward or Mayweather. (Outside of Sergio)

As it is now, theres no one in 147-154 I could see beating Floyd. No one in 168 is beating Ward. Sergio actually has a few options and can move up or down, with a few tough fights at his weight. Hence why he's generally ranked below those two. They fought top contenders / champions and won rather handily, there aren't any other options.

He still looks good but Ward and Sergio look better. Also it's a comparison of how they'd fare against similar opponents / each other at the same weight. You think Donaire being even in weight would beat Floyd, Andre, or Sergio? I really can't see it especially the first two. Sergio maybe because his defense is a lot poorer than the other two. Also theres things we haven't seen like Donaire beating a much larger man like Floyd and Sergio's done. Hence my ranking assessment. You're free to disagree though, and if you want you can give reasoning as to why.
