Didn't he fight a cruiser on Sat? Lol Let Chavez been at smw Martinez would of had no problem with that! C'mon let's keep it a c-note!
      This is an EXCELLENT post.

Please tell us Trinidad's record above 160. Hell, tell us who Tito beat at 160 and above.

Please also list the ATG's that Leonard fought at LHW...and what that fight weight was.

No, Ward can move down if he wants it just like Dawson did for him.

Why would Ward come down to 164?

This is like when Martinez was saying before he went nuts over leftover pasta that Pac was too small for him.

I hope Ward sticks to what he says, so he won't end up a hypocrite, but in this business who knows.

That fight wont happen with Martinez, he is a small middleweight. Chavez Jr. would be a better match for Ward phsycially, but Ward will destroy him easy!

LOL Bush look at what you've done.

Posted a harmless nonsensical supposed opinion and Burner and Larry automatically goes apesh^t.

I do not see why there are some trying to get Martinez to move up or down. He is at the age where he should not bounce around. Also, he has plenty of good fights on the horizon. The middleweight division is just getting good and stacked again. Why abandon it?

Martinez should stay at 160, forget about the Cotto's and Mayweather's of the world and make his place as the middleweight champion. He no longer has to chase after fights. He is now one of the go to men. He can make lots of history and money by staying put.

Martinez is looking for big money fights. A fight with Ward is not that. Ward is content, for now, being on HBO or Showtime and fighting anyone who will come to Oakland at 168.

Martinez knows his days are numbered so he is more interested in a paycheck. That is why he said he will do a rematch with Chavez. It will be the same result but more money. Ward still had plenty of time to land big fights and cement his legacy. He has no reason to rush it.
