      Yes, certain fighters can only improve so much in certain areas due to their physical athletic abilities.

      but

      Canelo is young and can improve .... he also has the right attitude when asked yesterday he said there is always room for improvement and you never stop learning ...

      Good example was Maidana. Last night he showed us that he can learn some new tricks.

      Good step up fights: Cotto and Lara.

      Cotto: We can also gauge how well Canelo did compared to Floyd.

      Lara: Has a style that is different from what we have seen recently in front of Canelo.

        i think it would be a tough fight that floyd will win. yeah he has slowed down but that happens. he is still capable of competing against elite fighters. he proved that when he fought cotto. plus it boils down to experience. compare the different caliber of champions and styles each fighter has fought. i say floyd has the advantage. and canelo is not that much faster then cotto. i say canelo should fight cotto first and then if he beats him go for mayweather.

          It will be a huge money fight and floyd will beat him easy but canelo wont mind the L on his record because it will be the most money he is going to make atleast in the next 5 years and perhaps ever unless he becomes a star himself down the road.

          There is a reason they will not make Canelo-Cotto and that is Canelo would likely loose and that would ruin a Canelo-Floyd fight. Theyll find someone else to make canelo look good to keep him winning and promotable.

            And plus everybody said the same thing about DLH and Cotto that because of their size they would beat floyd. look what happened to them. it wasnt pretty but he still pulled off the win. i see it playing out the same way against alvarez.

                  They're trying to make the Cotto fight, thats why Cotto flew in from Puerto Rico to watch Canelo fight live. If Cotto still wants to fight Canelo, It will be a one-sided beat-down. Canelo will make easy work of Cotto.
