i'm still not convinced that dawson will come in at 100% for this fight...but if he does, i would also favor him to beat ward.

I'm very surprised to see so many people pick Dawson. It's completely opposite of what the odds are saying.

I'm not comparing their chins, bro. What I'm saying is to predict EITHER man to knock out the other given the fact they don't carry KO power at THIS level, is absolutely, ludicrous. Could it happen? Possibly, but given the fact neither has KO power at this level, it's unlikely. See the thing is though, Harding, Tarver etc. are generally CONVENTIONAL boxers who fight predominantly on the outside. Ward is a dynamic fighter who can fight on the outside and inside. The closest fighter Dawson's faced to Ward is Hopkins, but there is GLARING differences between Ward and Hopkins in terms of overall style and approach. ANYWAY you slice it, to predict an early-mid round stoppage for either of them is just crazy, IMO. And, I'm sure most would be inclined to agree.

If Dawson let his hands go I'd bet he'd show that he's more than capable of knocking out tons of people.

If someone held a gun to my head and said pick a winner, I'd be dead. With that said, if I had to pick a guy to root for, I'd pick Dawson ONLY because he came down in weight. Love both guys. I'm Just going to sit back and enjoy all of these fights.

dawson for the upset! haha. we'll see what happens. i got an e-bet on ward but i wouldn't mind seeing the upset. looking forward to a great fight. it's going to be a bit hard trying to watch these two cards at the same time (matthysse/ajose and ward/dawson).

i feel this is a real 50/50 fight. Both fighters at the top of there game. Both are good boxers and despite some people thinking its going to be a boring fight, i disagree. I think its going to be a good technical boxing match with a few back and forth exchanges. I think at the end of the day, it will boil down to focus....concentration....and there mentalities. I think Ward has Dawson beat in these categories, which is why i think Ward will win the fight. Dawson doesnt focus 100% for 12 rounds and is passive through certain rounds and isnt always concentrating. This will be his downfall i believe. I see it going to Ward on points 116-112.

Ever since this fight was announced ive been changing my mind on a daily basis as to who i think would win this fight. This fight can go either way, but im picking Ward based on my reasons above and sticking to it

Hey don't usually like making predictions but I got 5-1 odds so i'm going with dawson..but this again goes back to my theory that weight truly isn't that much of an issue..brother naaz just about admitted as much over in an interview with fight hype..garcia rolls around at 180 and fights at 140..and from what we've seen it doesn't really take much of a toll on him...
