It happens get over it, A shot RJJ was rocked by Tarver in they're 3rd fight and kept fighting, Hopkins against Pascal and both fights, the list goes on!! I'd rather get rocked by Tarver and Johnson instead of hurt and down by bums. Oh and Dawson had Tarver down in the 1st fight, and also had Tarver hurt badly in the 2nd fight, you hear Kellerman and Steward say it and you see Tarver wobble and start retreating

Green was hurt badly on ESPN fight a few years ago by the contender series fighter Donny McCrary, and Kessler was down by Green. Green power looks good against bums, Abraham to me is the only one with concussive power as well as miranda. Froch power is good. So i guess Tarver, ademak, johnson, power is so so?? You need to go check they're highlights. Ademak against banks, Tarver = RJJ, Griffin, Green, Harding etc, Johnson was the 1st to KO Allan Green. Moving down from light heavy, until those guys you named hit harder than Dawson move to light heavy and have the same power, than your argument and comparison bears substance!! And ward hasn't faced no one like Dawson, thats a fact, if the Dirrell fight fell through which wasn't Ward's fought, than he would have faced someone similar to Dawson, but its a Fact most of the fighters he faced aren't pure boxers and can't match Andre skill wise. Fact, where is Dawson has faced slick boxers= harding, tarver, pressure fighters= johnson, ademake was a pressure fighter @ light heavy he changed his style to boxer once he moved up to heavy weight, and the ZEN Master in BHOP
I'm not comparing their chins, bro. What I'm saying is to predict EITHER man to knock out the other given the fact they don't carry KO power at THIS level, is absolutely, ludicrous. Could it happen? Possibly, but given the fact neither has KO power at this level, it's unlikely. See the thing is though, Harding, Tarver etc. are generally CONVENTIONAL boxers who fight predominantly on the outside. Ward is a dynamic fighter who can fight on the outside and inside. The closest fighter Dawson's faced to Ward is Hopkins, but there is GLARING differences between Ward and Hopkins in terms of overall style and approach. ANYWAY you slice it, to predict an early-mid round stoppage for either of them is just crazy, IMO. And, I'm sure most would be inclined to agree.

Not suprised that the writers are giving dawson a good chance, the way some of you talk about dawson being soft or mentally this and that has me wondering how he beat guys like johnson, tarver and hopkins.

Just before the hopkins fight we were hearing the same stories about dawsons mental game and how he would be broken down and frustrated but that didn't happen and i'd put my money down it wouldnt happen again tonight.

Knocked down by a bum? Please don't tell me you ACTUALLY believe THAT Ward, who was just starting his pro career, and THIS Ward, are the same fighters, right? All you have to do is look at those fights, and then look at Ward's last fight against Froch, and you'll see he's a completely different fighter. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that. But, in one sense, if you look at it, Ward's taken FLUSH punches from the likes of Abraham, Froch, Kessler etc, and wasn't fazed. So, Ward's shown, that at THIS level his chin is solid, whereas with Dawson, he's been hurt several times at this level.

That's what i'm saying, guys saying Dawson down by Harding and Ademak, was @ the beginning of Dawson's career, it's just Dawson fought for @ title early in his career. And yes they were bums. Also Ward was stun against Kessler with a short hook and also stun against Froch you have to look @ the fights closely, i remember the announcers picked up on it, but nevertheless Ward dominated. So what dawson was stun it happens, mayweather, ali, leanord, ray robinson, frazier, gatti, world class fighters get hurt, froch against JT he was down and came to back to win, Bhop>Pascal, Cotto>Judah just to name a few, it happens. Get My point!!

With all due respect to my fellow boxing fans, I am completely unbised and do not actually like either fighter. However, it is blantantly obvious that Ward will absolutely put on a clinic. Dawson will get hit 10 times to his one. Dull, Tactical decision for Ward.

Cliff Rold ending statement. In a thinking man's fight the stronger man mentally has the advantage Ward has the mind and maturity to stand ahead of almost anyone in the crowd Ward 8-4 UD

It's strange in a fight like this, with their styles, not one of them chose a Draw. A lot of them did pick an SD or close fight. But I think this fight will end up looking like a Draw.
