Floyd hadn't fought at 140 in his last 5 fights. Guerrero has one fight over 138 lbs. Big difference. Also, Floyd-JMM was crap when it happened, but I give Floyd is due for that win after seeing an even older Marquez arguably beat Manny at the same weight.
yet all we heard in the preceding years was " floyd can make 140 easily", from hordes of floyd fans.

so no, that excuse wont cut it.

I don't get it was this an attempt at a JOKE or something? Did not he not clean out 130? Who was left? Ao and Uchiyama wasn't going to come to the US to fight him and he wasn't going to go to Japan, he took on the Top Fighters at 130 who wanted to fight him, Litzau, Perez, and Escobedo...not Broner fault that a guy like Burns DUCKED HIM

Not about being a fan...it is just about saying was is I believe to be...at 135 none of those guys beats Broner IMO because none of those guys are all that Good...you have two guys who lets be honest in the biggest match of their careers was getting DOMINATED...Linares was completely DOMINATING DeMarco before he got cut...then Molina Jr was getting completely out-classed by Lundy until Lundy decided that he wanted to Show Off and he got caught...Broner Knocks Both Of Those Guys Out! Then you have Vazquez who I like but he is SLOW and extremely flat footed and can easily be out-boxed as seen against Timothy Bradley and even Canelo, then you have Pillow Punching Burns, if you had no Pop at 130, that certainly won't improve at 135...Broner walks through all his Punches and walking him down and destroy him to the Body then Knock Him Out

Broner toughest competition at 135 would be Richard Abril!

When Dawson did it, you didn't seem to have a problem with it.

Actually Ponce De Leon boxing SKILLS are Extremely Underrated, he was giving my Boy Gamboa some problems early in their fight with his weird angles and counter punching...it takes time to figure a guy like that out when you fight him because he can be SO unpredictable...NONE of those fighters at 135 can do what Ponce De Leon can do, none of them is as crafty and unpredictable

Ao and Uchiyama were other champs there, those fights were only possible Broner goes to Japan (not happening) or if they leave Japan (not happening). I wanted Broner to fight Salgado though, but it looks like Gamboa is taking that title. And Broner wanted to fight Burns in Nov 2011 for that title, but Burns vacated the title and jumped to 135 instead.

Broner will probably fight DeMarco/Molina and Burns/Mitchell to unify and beat the top fighters there, and than move to 140, or wait for Gamboa to get up to 135.
I guess Perez and Escobedo were a better choice than Salgado huh?

Here's the difference between a GREAT fighter and an average one who's being babied. Look who Gamboa is gonna fight for a title after a year off and look who Broner fought for his title. Broner is only lucky Gamboa had issues with Top Rank and didnt end up fighting Rios. He wouldve been running that division and making Broner look like the sht that he is.

Has it already been pointed out that Guerrero fought Casamayor at a catchweight of 138?

You mean the difference between a 30 year old fighter and a 24 year old fighter.

Yea his speed is underrated too . And like I stated in my previous post, I guess Perez and Escobedo were a better choice than Salgado right? He didn't EVEN TRY to unify...

Broner strikes me as a total chicken ****. He wanted to run his mouth, because he's been taught that it brings attention, but never had an intention of fighting.

Demarco's ability is underrated as well, he was actually timing and countering Linares at times and used a wide variety of punches to stop him. I don't see Broner beating him easy, the shoulder roll doesn't work on southpaws.
