but its only 1 pound. no big deal right? its an irrelevant miniscule pound. i don't give a chee what a fighter wants to weigh in at as long as it's within the weight class the bout is being contested at. just answering your question bucko.

so 1 pound is no big deal and not a disadvantage for cotto but its a major benefit for pacquiao? im scratching my head at your logic

this is why they give u a 2n and 3rd chance TRUST ME the lowest a fighter weighs ever during camp is at the time of the weigh in
Cotto himself said he came out of his last training session before the weigh in at 144. Cotto had to make sure he make weight!

      Pacquiao fought DLH @147

my point is IT WASNT MUCH OF A CATCH WEIGHT AT ALL
and if anyone was at a disadvantage it was the 7 lbs lighter pacquiao

it really hurts my head to try and figure out the logic some of u posters use
like my granny always said its like "talking to a wall"

im a bigger fan of cotto been to dozens of his fights bu this excuse is SOOO bazaar to me

Pac only asked for it for his own insecurites, and just dipping his toes in the water, but Pac cant and didnt know for sure if it did disadvantage Cotto.
Pac may have hoped it would, so is horrible and chicken, but dont mean it did benefit him.

and pac WEIGHED IN AT 142 FACT
AND 138 VS HATTON BY UR LOGIC
HATTON DRAINED PAC MORE THAN PAC DRAINED COTTO

How do we know what his limit is? Does your eye test tell you Dawson drops 7 no problem, while for Cotto 1 was gonna be detrimental?

What do you think about Ortiz Berto, surely that was no FOTY when Berto was suffering from weight drain (much more obviously than Cotto vs Pac)? Maybe a CW FOTY, a different category.

He didn't drain him, its just an excuse for haters to use to discredit Pacquiao. Like all of a sudden a fighter has to lose one more pound and that also takes away his ability and technique as a boxer? its like some type of magical thing that all of a sudden that one pound that boxers lost his boxing skills and doesn't know how to box? lol

There are plenty of fighters who drain more weight than Cotto, but nobody complains you know why those fighters win, but when they lose they blame the weight. It only becomes a problem when a fighter loses.

Some of these racist fan boys even blamed Pacquiao for not fighting De La Hoya at 154 when Oscar called him out lol. Pac just barely fought at 135 and yet he is the bad guy for not fighting Oscar at 154.

Cotto said that 4 the PAC fight he did an extra 30 mins training a day 2 ensure he made the weight, this might not seem like a lot but if he did a 8 week camp n trained 6 days a week then that would be an extra 24 hours training 4 that fight which his body wouldn't of been used 2 which could of had an affect on him.
