You think it's only Ricans that think this? Why are you being so ignorant in bringing up race?

You think it's delusional to believe that Cotto had a chance at beating Mayweather in his prime?

Any time Cotto comes up it is 99% chance the thread will be full of delusions of grandeur...and why are you pretending to be someone new vegan?

A prime Cotto would probably beat today's Mayweather.

Most likely wouldn't beat a prime Mayweather.

I don't see a prime Cotto who was a Welterweight beating a welterweight Mayweather now, let alone when he was in his prime.

Cotto won 3 rds in this last fight, maybe 4 if you're being generous, but compubox and impact shots had Floyd in a route...and that was at 154, with big gloves, and against a well trained and conditioned, and confident Cotto coming off a great victory over Margarito.

These Cotto and Margarito would beat Floyd threads are wishful thinking at best, and fanboy angst at worst.

Floyd vs. Manny at 147, and FLoyd vs. Sergio at 154 are the only questions remaining...

              Mayweather took 1, 3, 4, 7, 11, 12

              But there are 2 swing-rounds rds 9 & 10

Give them to Cotto and u have a draw

Mayweather was the effective puncher but Cotto was the champion and forced the fight - I think MC won 5-rds!

In his prime, 2007-2008, he takes Mayweather!

Cotto was in his prime at 140. Mayweather wanted to fight him, but Bob Arum and Cotto's father refused to put him in the ring with Mayweather because they knew that Cotto didn't stand a chance. Mayweather would beat Cotto at any weight, prime or not.

Oh so now it's just delusion, not boricua delusion like you said earlier, nice change of tone. I'm glad you dropped the racial part of your agenda.

How is it delusional to believe that Cotto could beat Mayweather in his prime again?

Meh...just satisfied that the fight actually happened. If it didn't there would be 6,547 threads on here within 5yrs wondering how the fight would play out.I did see the fight allot closer then ppl expected and I thought compubox was completely biased that night that's about it.

I thought that fight was much more closer then what the judges saw. Sometimes, I think they should replace the judges with Robots, kinda like Compubox. So that way the margin of error would be minimal if any. lol

So I think both fighters in there prime would produced the same outcome of there first clash. Reason being Floyds stamina was impeccable at that stage of his career. However had Cotto had the trainer he's working with now, Floyd would've been in a bit of a pickle. lol I believe this trainer knows how to bring the best out of Cotto
