If Canelo doesn't want to fight legitimate 154lbers, how is he gonna manage to get into the ring at 160lbs with Chavez Jr? Or, are you assuming that Martinez is gonna win and move down to accommodate Canelo? There's nothing real about Canelo yet, he hasn't been put through a test that lets us know what he's TRULY made of. He has potential and fights like he has maturity, but my opinion of him isn't set in stone yet. He hasn't faced not one guy who I can look back and say, "Wow, he put on a boxing display against a guy I ranked highly". Beating an extremely faded Mosley should not get you the type of recognition that he's receiving.

Although I think Lopez has a chance, I cannot say with a straight face that he's a "credible" choice. Ortiz was not a credible choice, neither was Gomez/Hatton/Cintron.

Floyd can take on Gurerreo as a "tune up" November/December 2012 and fight the winner of Cotto Alvarez May 2013.

By that time Pac should have either rematched Bradley or fought JMM for a 4th time. Bob will look to fight which ever one is left in late 2013. He will then look for a Mayweather fight beginning of 2014 for Pac's retirement fight.
