All they have is Alvarado so far. At least Golden Boy is keeping up with the theme on their show.

Vanes vs Lara make a good main event or co-feature on regular HBO.
Because there would be Cubans coming to watch Rigo? You mad bro? So Gamboa and Lara have amateur styles too? Take your hatin' ass somewhere else. Arum gave his options and I was simply saying what I felt would be the better options. But then again Im no promoter.

There's no Alvarado on the card you tard. And Arum obviously doesn't care it's a Mexican holiday, why? Look at the card:

Sergio Gabriel Martinez - Julio Cesar Chavez Jr 12
Guillermo Rigondeaux - Robert Marroquin 12
    Matthew Macklin - Joachim Alcine
    Mikael Zewski - TBA

How many Mexicans do you see on there besides JCC Jr?

if you like undefeated guys cesar rene cuenca baby! 43-0 1 ko!
He's not that good, but he's more vulnerable to pressure. His boxing skills are pretty good, not as good as Lara, but Lara's not big at sww, not a puncher or a pressure guy. Lara counterpunches, but Vanes doesn't come firing like Khan, he can just try to use his longer jab and outwork him.

"Those are the three possibilities" for Lara-Martirosyan, said Arum.

I would put it on Sept 15th card and since Rigo is fighting there, Arum might attract more Cubans. But the Donaire-Arce one wouldn't be bad either since it's in Texas and Lara is based out of Texas now.

If I can dream, I'd prefer either of the bigger cards (Manny or JCC Jr.); but I wouldn't cry about Lara being on the undercard of Donaire's fight. Something tells me that's where he and Vanes are going to wind up. (Just a gut feeling.) In the end, it's all good.

Yea, I think that might be the more logical one too. And like I said, Lara is based in Texas now where that fight is supposed to be happening so probably not too bad. And if they wait till December that would be 10 months off for Vanes.

What? All 12 of them? Arum shouldn't be catering to them in a Mexican holiday. Macklin vs Alcine is also a terrible choice.
                Lara have amateur styles too?
                Yes

How am I hating? Lara is my favorite fighter at 154. Mexicans not liking the Cuban style isn't exactly a secret. Ask onechance.

That's my whole point. They need more Mexicans to fight in fucking Mexican Independence day. And Boxrec isn't official. Alvarado being on the undercard has been talked about since the start and they still are. I'd very surprised if doesn't end up being on it.

Like I said, Arum obviously doesn't give a **** about Mexican Independence day or how Mexicans feel cause if he did Rigo wouldn't be on this card with this "amateurish/boring" style. Mexicans must hate Lara even more after whooping Hernandez with his amateurish style and was still enough to whoop Williams as well huh? I guess it doesn't take much to beat American fighters or Mexicans. And if you wanna talk about not being official then the Alvarado fight is not official either, it's "in the talks."

Mexican fans love boxing in general, stop saying mexicans only watching mexcians...this is not true. I'm sure plenty of mexicans would find enjoyment in watching Lara whoop Vanes before the main event.
