Several sources within the United States, and Mexico, are advising krikya360.com that WBC silver welterweight champion Josesito Lopez (30-4, 18KOs) will be announced, likely tomorrow, as the opponent for WBC 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (40-0-1, 29KOs) on September 15th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. At the moment, BoxingScene has not received confirmation on the exact weight - whether the fight is set for the full 154 or a catch-weight.
