Call it karma or whatever but Lopez got revenge for the dirty tactics. If Ortiz wasn't known for this type of crap I could let it slide now I find it hard to root for him against anyone.
I didn't care who won last night but I did want Ortiz to beat Canelo. I think Canelo has been baby'd to the top but regardless of all that he's a more respectable fighter and person from what I can tell.

Jaw broke in the 5th round
-Second break occured soon after
Ortiz underwent surgery, docs placed a titanium bar and three screws in his jaw.
The severity of the broken jaw caused a severed vein which caused severe internal bleeding
Jaw was broken in two places
So where are all the internet tough guys from 2 days ago? You know, the ones saying they would have continued on a double broken jaw?

Also while I know styles make fight I think Canelo would have made Ortiz quit or maybe even broke his jaw as well. You can't help but wonder if Floyd softened that chin some because it seems to have come back to haunt Ortiz as soon as he got dirty again.

The Racket Squad: The Ginger Beard
At the end of the day Ortiz may or may not wish to compete when the chips are low down.
Should he beat Lopez in a solid rematch, a Canelo fight would surely be the next stop.
At the very least, it would certainly be the whisker test Saul requires.

Floyd's second sucker punch hit Ortiz with his mouth open as well.
