Eh man you had Rodriquez winning?! I've heard a few ppl say that but I watched the fight a few times and I thought a DRAW was giving Rodriquez a break.

Rosinsky had Rodriquez backing up, hit him with way better clean combos, and completely controlled the momentum of the fight.

Rodriquez never really impressed me yet. Even against Aaron Pryor jr. He looked eh...

If Pavlic doesnt establish momentum in this fight he can lose.

He's gonna win this fight. And it's just a matter of shrewd match-making from here on out.

I'm not big on Pavlik, but I can see him making a significant title run at 168 in the near future. He's 30 now and hasn't been in as many wars as we would wanna believe. It's a really thick division now but that will change within the next 24 months

i did have rodriguez winning. i was there and i thought he won that night, and when i've watched the fight on TV i've had rodriguez ahead. rosinsky won some rounds. tough kid. put his hands on rodriguez pretty well. about as conservative i've seen rodriguez fight (that and maybe the george fight. he was all offense when he fought locally.) you can attribute that some to his intention to create a more sustainable style under ronnie shields, but rosinsky's offense had something to do with it as well. it was a fun fight. the scorcards were a joke (each one read 10-0 for rodriguez..)

that being said, i'm biased. i've seen most of edwin's local fights live. i know exactly what he's capable of and where his limits are. i had hardly seen rosinsky leading up to the fight. the one fight i saw he went down in the first round if i remember correctly. he came back and stopped the guy almost immediately

this fight should be a lot of fun. rosinsky's best attributes in this fight will be his natural strength and his chin. he's a stout guy

I hope Rosinsky does get a fair shake, unlike Alfonso Lopez got against Pavlik. But who knows maybe Pavlik comes out and blasts this guy like Froch did to Bute. Everyone just feared that Bute wasn't gonna get a fair shake, but Froch didn't even let it become controversial.

If Rosinsky isn't a journeyman maybe he is a club fighter. Why? Because I never heard of him before he signed to fight Pavlik. He has only fought once outside the NY metro area and he has a decent record against rather mediocre opposition. And if I am reading his bio right he is a part time fighter and a full time fireman.

I will also have to admit that I know nothing about Rodriquez. But from what I have read he seems to be a tad overrated. I also did not see their fight but many fans believed that Rosinsky at least deserved a draw in that fight. In a fight where one fighter was hovering around the top fifteen and neither of them had fought an elite fighter up to that point, or as of yet. So, does that mean that one of them is better than believed or is one possibly not as good as advertised?

I honestly don't know because I haven't seen much of either one of them. And I am only basing my opinion on what I am seeing in their records and also by what I have read about them. And the other thing I keep hearing is that Rosinsky can really crack. But, then I look at his record and he has just under a 53% KO ratio and has gone the distance with a few fighters that are prone to being KOed rather easily.

In closing I just want to make it clear that I have no idea in what direction Rosinsky's career will go. And this is not an indictment of him or his career. I just look at the fact that Pavlik has more than twice as many KO's as Rosinsky has fights and he is only three years older. And he was also the lineal and unified middleweight champion just a short time ago. And at this this point in their perspective careers Pavlik did not pick him because they thought he was a real threat. And if he manages to lose to a 17 fight novice, he really should retire and find something else to do for a living.

I thought Pavlik beat Alfonso Lopez. as far as fair shakes go , they often don't happen in boxing see Pacquiao vs Bradley. KO's are best as they are the most conclusive..

Ok this is the last i will say about this. Will(power) rosinsky is
a solid fighter with a chance of a life time. Kelly pavlik is a fighter who has been to the top but isnt anymore so he is in the position of the stepping stone i think b-hop destroyed his confidence and i have not seen a glimmer of it sense. Perfect fight for both men one see's if he still has it the other if it was the right choice.

                      Pavlics run is over.

I read an article that said Rosinsky's camp went to find that fight after seeing Pavlics last few fights ...maybe Rosinsky looked at him as an opportunity to move up to another level.

I see a hungry, young fighter verses a burnt out fed up drunk.
