First of all.. Its not that hard to believe that Mayweather weighs 142 pounds now. He's almost certainly on a calorie deficit right now.

More importantly: of course Mayweather can recover from this. Some of you people act like he's in there for 1-2 years. Its 2-3 MONTHS. Lol. Wow.

His lawyers are doing and saying anything they can to get him out of jail earlier, but he isn't in any danger whatsoever of never fighting again. He may not fight THIS YEAR (I personally think he will), but he WILL fight again.

I know dudes that went to jail skinny as a toothpic, but came out like Brock Lesnar.

      What's the problem here?

Were all the people you knew who went to jail on 23 hour lock down?

Charles Bronson was in solitary for year, and he became a beast in prison.

Just doing press ups. He would see how many press up he could do, they try and beat that record.

Floyd is too soft, he has led a privilege life.

All I know is dudes went to jail small and came out big as hell. I don't the specifics.

If you really want to get technical, you're allowed to have snacks in your cell. I've seen guys turn their cells into real life kitchens with toilet paper, water, a lighter and a matress.

Also, you can literally do push ups and situps all day. There's exercises you can do in a room that will work your cardio also. I can show you a 2 minute exercise that will have you tired as hell.

Exercises like the invisible chair followed by floor and ceiling touchers for 5 minutes straight followed by push-ups and situps followed by upside down push ups (works shoulders), will have you in shape and allow you to maintain.

Trust me it can be done; it has been done. It's just a matter of applying yourself.

Floyd can't handle the hard work and dedication.

Dude - I think you realize that there's a pretty significant difference between being in solitary confinement and in the general pop. I wasn't getting technical - I was referring to Mayweather's current situation. I know people that went to jail and came out huge too, but none of them were in solitary for 23 hours a day.

Also, I'm heavy into fitness. I work out religiously. I know how to exercise in small places. That isn't the point.

The point is that regardless of how much or how little Mayweather is working out, which none of us really know in the first place (although logic would tell us that he is, considering that he's lost weight), the main thing to consider is how much of a calorie deficit he's on right now.

He can do as many exercises in his cell as he wants, but if he isn't getting as many calories in his body as he's accustomed to consuming - he'll lose weight. It's common sense.

It doesn't mean that he's "withering away" in jail. It doesn't necessarily mean that he's being deprived of the necessary calories for the AVERAGE adult. It just means that he isn't taking in as many calories as HE'S accustomed to eating to maintain his weight. I don't see whats hard to understand about this.

You can't gain or maintain weight just by exercising. You also have to be on a calorie surplus.

OP - this is an example of one of the internet tough guys I was talking about in my first post.
