Not shocked about this. Had him by decision but not surprised he TKOd him. I (and many of you here) thought Andy Lee didn't have the power to keep him off and that's what happened.

I'm more curious now as to if they're going to even test him though...Did I hear he didn't get tested again and they would instead just wait til after the fight? >__>.... Lol.

You are right when looking at the Replays but i wanted to see my man Jr put Lee down. And when seeing Andy admitting he was hurt and couldnt hurt Chavez in return, it was a good stoppage. Dont get confused i had Chavez up big at the time of the stoppage.

The fight should have been postponed until the wiz was taken. Other than that good stoppage Lee was done.

Long story short I'm done calling JCC Jr a hypejob. I'll still stand by it that Chavez's biggest asset is his size, but wow. Just wow. Martinez vs Chavez has really got interesting.

Only casual fans thought JCC JR was a hypejob.

You could tell Lee was badly hurt, he didn't need to take any more punishment. Plus he never complained after that they stop the fight to early, so that tells you he couldn't go on.

On your previous post I was about to compliment you on saying something decent about Chavez-most unusual for you-and how come you hadn't brought some negative Arum crap into it. Then I decided, nah, it might set him off.........

So I see that you don't need anything to set you off, you just can't live without slagging Arum in some way-any way. Makes you "feel-good, eh?

Chavez Jr. looked big and looked strong. That was slightly surprising, but Jr.'s beard was shocking. He kept coming and digging to the body. Those body shots mad me grimace a number of times.

he stopped being a hypejob for me after the rubio fight, but like u said, if he was fighting at smw, he wouldnt be nearly as good. all of the top 5 fighters there would probably eat him up.

Chavez is the Mexican middleweight version of Bute. Now hopefully he will move up to 168 and get exposed.
