FINALLY...Chavez turns in an impressive performance. He fought the same way he usually does, but he seemed a little more polished with his offense, and he didn't smother his punches like he usually does. He was also countering effectively.

Now, will the Chavez/Martinez fight finally be made?

Was a quick stoppage but Chavez looked very strong. I thought Chavez should of worked the body more as he seems to have inherited his fathers style but i guess Chavez looked at what Vera did and decided to go for the KO. Was a decent fight and i will be looking forward to the Martinez showdown. Viva Chavez

        Wow

All i saw leading up to this was how Chavez Jr. was a bum and Lee was gonna ko him. Or if he didn't he would get robbed. Everyone talked about Lee's incredible boxing skills making him sound like ray leonard. then he looses and all of a sudden everyone knew he didn't have a chance. **** all the haters

Hey hater's is Chavez still a hype job ? being a Roach fighter you can't leave it to the judges being ripped off in 2 consecutive fights Khan and Pacquiao

Agree with you. Lee didn't need to take anymore punishment.

and some people where calling me crazy when I stated that Jr was a legit champ, regardless of how many bums u may have fought u dont get to 45-0 without being very good.. very impressed by jr tonight, although the denial of weighing his gloves yesterday and the fact that he wont be giving a urine sample until after the fight an the ironic fact that this fight was held in texas was ??? to say the least lol...

46 have tried and 46 have failed.

Sergio Martinez can't be the first, but he will be the next.
