the only southpaw fighter that gave floyd real trouble was reggie sanders in his 2nd pro fight---i still don't see how people can say zab was winning the 1st five or 6 rounds with floyd without smacking themselves afterwards...chop hit floyd good but lost damn near, if not every round...chop stuuned floyd in the 4th round at the beginning of the round right? only to immediately get stunned himself(that's the **** ****m was talking about)...stepping on the tail of a dragon.)..and chop was knocked down down in reality 4 times in the fight...the 4th round, the 6th round when floyd turned southpaw and nailed him...and of course the 8th and 10th round--of course floyd gets hit more by southpaws..he was even hurt by 1 or 2---but he adapts to them very well and fights them more--ortiz did nothing really against floyd except bumrush him to the ropes and land nearly nothing...zab is a very sharp puncher, and his style is more like floyd's than any other southpaw he's faced, hell, any other fighter he has faced or will ever face--zab is technically sound like floyd, just not to floyd's degree, which is why i knew zab would give floyd way more trouble than tata baldomir, even after losing to him...and it turns out he did, because zab landed some decent shots on floyd--and maybe he knocked him down, but i saw him step on his foot, but the punch was legit in round 2, but in round 4, those punches that zab landed on floyd were rolled and blocked for the most part--just watch the fight again and see, and floyd goes to the body more against southpaws in the mid to late rounds...

floyd wanted to fight zab for years before they fought...cotto is a converted right handed fighter--so that's why his jab landed more than his right hand..it was his power hand and it was well timed---manny doesn't have that timing with his jab---cotto's timing is deceptive but tempered...manny's movement will work against him fighting floyd who won't have to move around to land on manny---all he has to do is take a little step back and sharpshoot him--it's not hard to do at all--floyd's reach is longer and manny won't weigh in 10 lbs heavier than floyd who imo is stronger---

corley hit floyd with his right hand--zab really didn't hit floyd with his left hand....manny's not technically sound enough to hit floyd like zab did...he is wild and all over the place when a fighter can time his shots--and don't be fooled by manny's right hand--skip bayfest bayless is a ***boy...he said floyd's afraid of manny's right hand...now think about this---zab and corley hit and hurt floyd with their right hands...corley's was awkwardly thrown, but many people don't know, that corley's timing at 140 lbs was better than many other fighters---and floyd opened up against corley more---that was his gameplan--bring the fight to him--he was even yelling at zab judah when zab fought chop a year earlier to fight him and keep going at him---floyd took some flush shots in rounds 3 and 4 and ate them up well and recovered fast to knock his ass down right afterwards....

dlh was tenacious, no doubt, but he won no more than 3 rounds imo---you add all of those combinations up including ortiz, who is a converted right hand fighter which makes his right hand his power hand really, and you have something to go off of, no doubt about that, but you'll end up coming up short still against floyd who will stop manny no later than round 8---he will catch manny at will---manny can be timed so well, it's scary---don't let floyd start moving around the ring and making manny miss---he still has his footwork--he just feels stronger now fighting on the inside....manny will taste leather all night en route to an ass whooping of a lifetime--he better worry about tim tim.....he'll be crushed by floyd soon enough, don't worry.

Best thing bob does is follow the advice of his match maker Goodman. Between his keen sense of timing and bob's ability to market and promote, I'd agree that TR is the best promotional outfit in boxing.

It's bob's job to promote his fighter, and pretend manny is not scared. A few years ago he said Shane Mosley would be the hardest stylistic match up for Mayweather all while manny, Cotto, and margarito were under contract to him.

Zab did not win 5 rounds or the first 4 rounds.

The 3rd was one of the most sided rounds in Floyd's favor. Zab won the first minute of the 4th then lost the later 2 minutes.
