The only fights I think make sense for Floyd are Pac of course, Khan or possibly Canelo. I think people even talking about Sergio is nonsense. 160 is too high. Floyd is a great fighter with terrific skill. His technical genius is what gets him by some bigger fighters. That said when cats start talking about Floyd fighting someone like Sergio, I think its more wishful thinking that Floyd can overcome the weight difference. He doesn't need to prove anything outside of his natural weight any longer. He's 35 and a natural 147, if he wants to continue Khan or Pac are makes sense. Even though a fight with Canelo makes plenty of money, it too is asking a lot size wise.
People automatically assume that Floyd would walk through Canelo. I don't see that at all. He definitely has better skill, but Canelo would come in with damn near a 20 pound weight advantage, along with a longer reach and improving skill to boot. That's asking a a lot for a guy that's 35 and is 43-0 to keep going up in weight to fight these young dudes.
