Why do we want to see this again? Does anyone outside of die hard cotto fans think he can actually beat Floyd?

I gave him 4 rounds, most gave him 3. Let's move on to the next chapter, he can't beat Manny, he can't beat Floyd.

Agreed, although I gave 5 rounds to Cotto. Cotto can have great fights with Ortiz, Berto, Canelo, Martinez ... lot of great fights for him.

Why are they even entertaining the thought of these rematches? Cotto should fight Canelo or the winner of K9/Spink. Cotto can pick up the IBF strap and it might turn out to be light-work too.

That would be a good option too but I don't think Cotto would fight K9/Spinks winner at this stage of his career. He will be looking for the big money fights. Unfortunately, the biggest ones are obv May and Pac. But fights with Canelo, Ortiz and Berto (can easily move to 154 or a 150 catch or something), Martinez too would also do pretty good money

Yes i know you underestimate Pac, but the problem is you like to boast about that which is the problem and you take pride in boasting about the fact you like to underestimate Pac.Even though Pac ruined Margarito you underestimate what Pac could do at 154? So Cottos favourite at 154 then in your eyes?

Pac is giving Cotto a chance to remathc a brutal loss, and Pac thought Cotto would jump at the chance, its not pacs fault Cotto moved up to 154 and implies thats his natural weight. Its not Pacs natural weight thats for sure.

Sorry you dont like to talk about Floyd you claim, i need evidence of that, but Floyds name is in the title of this thread. Do you underestimate what Floyd can do as well if he dont come in over the weight like he did with JMM. Do you doubt Floyd could beat JMM if JMM wasnt bloated and Floyd came under the specified weight, and do you also look down on Floyd as he dont beat people as good as pac does, and beats shop worn versions.
I underestimate Floyds ability to beat Pacman until he signs, and if Floyd beats Sergio at 154, i will underestmate his ability to beat Sergio at 160. I will always underestimate Floyd until he steps up.

I'll underestimate Floyd, until he rematches JMM at an agreed weight of 144. I'll underestimate Floyd until he rematches Hatton, in England without referee help at 140 and not floydy weight of 147.

I'll underestimate Floyd until he fights a great fighter in his prime. Hes got a lot of proving to convince me for sure.
When he has made a believer of me, i will shout it from the rooftops. Until then, Floyd needs to continue to fight.

His not a fan of Floyd.. He just hates Pac for what Pac did to Cotto.. Until now he couldnt get over the hump that his boy got beaten up like that..

When I first thought about Mayweather vs Cotto II, I wasn't too thrilled. Then I watched the fight again and there is no way it is being considered a FOTY from some to not have been competitive. Floyd CLEARLY won 1-2 and 11-12, Cotto clearly won 6 and 8, if they split the other 6 rounds which were all that close its a 7-5 win for Floyd.

Personally, I'd rather see Pac/Cotto II at 150 people are saying Cotto has no leverage, but he got a ton by beating Mayweather. He matched Marquez 1.5 million and did 1.25 million with Pac the first time. Not to mention his stock is WAY higher now than it was before and you can milk the CW/Marg/Trainer/Floyd performance into building Cotto in the fight. At 150 I'm taking Cotto, but I'm not sure if that fight will happen it would be too tough for Manny and we know he can't be challenged.
