I don't see the problem with offering Pacquiao $40 mil guaranteed. That's more money than he's making now. He is the #2 PPV draw. Floyd is #1. Mayweather offered the #3 PPV draw considerably less than that. Cotto had no problem taking that money. The fans got a great fight in return. 700K filipinos watching the fight because of Manny is not a selling point for this boxing match. Those same 700K filipinos will watch Manny make lumpia if he put it on PPV. Also, please stop with the Floyd is scared argument. Whenever I hear that I know whoever is making that statement is a blind Manny Pacquiao fan. As far as Manny being more popular, that may be true, but Floyd is boxing. Boxing is more popular than it's been in a long while because of Floyd.
