Like him or hate him undoubtedly Floyd is 1 of these special fighters that come around every so often & people could say what they want & think about him but that doesn't take away the fact that he's 1 of the most talented fighters out there that has taken on practically everyone & has beaten them & is a future hall of famer & when he retires is gonna be considered 1 of the greatest of all time..

i noticed floyd wince after throwing a left that didnt land cleanly, i dont think he is lying. he didnt jab much in the second half of the fight and it could also explain why he was going against the ropes so much, to give him a couple of rounds to let it get a bit better.
people that are saying cotto won need to re-watch the fight with a non-biased attitude, you may not like floyd but he definitely won this fight. i think cotto gained more respect from floyd, he proved to be tougher and a cleverer boxer than he, may, had thought.

Great fight but Floyd is a sucker for straight lefts. Cotto had success with it last night and so did Judah against floyd. Now who has probably the most effective straight left in boxing? Pacman, and he throws it with authority! Why do u think Floyd Sr isn't to keen on his son fighting southpaws? Floyds shoulder roll defense isnt effective against the straight left.

I doubt very much Floyd would have lost 4 lbs in one day. That's crazy. If anything I figure he was about 153 on fight night. At the lightest, 151. It's like he's trying to squeeze more credit. But he already deserves plenty of credit because he fought a great fight against a great competitor.

Cotto's jab was key...it was a much better fight than the Ortiz debacle

About the injury, it could be plausible as you saw Floyd switch to southpaw very briefly once or twice, then quickly went back to orthodox after reconsidering... which could indicate him struggling to use his left hand, who knows... but I'm not gonna read into it too much, Floyd won the fight and it was overall a good night of Boxing, was an exciting fight - which people often complain saying Mayweather is boring, well this even well and truly delivered!
