Floyd fought and beat Cotto at 154 so if Floyd was willing to move up and fight Corner then why should I believe Manny who can't do it has a chance at beating Mayweather?
well that makes no sense seeing as anyone can make the case cotto has been through wars and is physically on the decline following margacheatos concrete, pacs beatdown, shane, torres and judah all busting him up with sheer physical damage...

also when cotto fought pac the fight before pac he weighed in at 146 not even 147 even stating he was fine for pac....

the end point is that pac and floyd are the two best and need to fight..

u should know styles make fights, you cant use triangle theories u know that

The only way that he could have lost 4 pounds over night was if he stuffed himself before the weigh in and then didn't eat much the day of the fight.

As for his left hand injury, its not impossible.

The trainer and weight made the difference along with Cotto's determination and that should not be disputed. He conquered his demons in the Margarito fight and was hungry going into the Floyd fight. Pac fought Cotto when he was fresh off of his beat down by Margarito and struggle with Clottey. A good win for Pac but lets keep it all the way real. Pac fought Oscar and 147 and looked spectacular beating Oscar but needed a 145 catch weight for Cotto and not Clottey nor Mosley? Cotto took it so no crying here but to say Pac demolished Cotto and would do the same to Floyd when Pac who demolished Cotto in the first fight BUT didn't want to fight the same Cotto again at a higher, comfortable weight even though Cotto was his first choice is absurd in my opinion. Anyway, props to Miguel Cotto. Not going to say Floyd hand was hurt or he weighed less to make it seem like Cotto didn't come to fight because he did and props to his trainer Diaz for putting in work and making Cotto look great even in defeat.

Yea Floyd you beat cotto with one hand. You are superman! I guess Pedro Diaz is wrong when he said that only invincible men appear in movies only. They also appear on HBO Sport.s!!!!

I was about to start a thread to say Floyd looked old and everything was off about him, he wasn't his usual self, but now I know why. Floyd is not the type of fighter to make excuses, he had a shoulder injury against Castillo and didn't mention it, and that fight was closer than last night's fight.

Except the same thing happened when he fought Oscar... He weighed in at 151 and came in the fight at 148. 147 is where he naturally will be and its where he will always be most likely. Well at least until he stops fighting.

i can see a hand injury disturbing him but he threw hellacious left uppercuts the last 4 rounds even with it...

but losing 4 lbs from the weigh in till fight night that makes no sense...

pac fought a drained dlh no doubt but cotto wasnt drained...

these two need to fight and even if they do there will still be speculation about what if they fought in their primes because both are no longer physically prime...

Floyd understands his vulnerabilities. They were put on display last night for the whole world to see. Floyd knows the excitement and hype around him doesn't match up with his actual capabilities. Of course he's going to make excuses and talk about retirement, again. This is all very familiar.
