Cotto doesn't plan on pressuring Mayweather, because pressuring Mayweather is the worst strategy in boxing history. Mayweather's defense is designed for that. He stays on the outside, which makes opponents (and dumbass fans) think the goal is to get inside. Once there, however, he uses crafty angles, his gloves, and his elbows to smother, deflect, and cheap-shot his opponents. He wants those guys coming inside.

Cotto and his team have likely studied a boatload of tape and will be aware of this. We saw when he beat Margarito both times (prior to the plaster-to-the-nose in fight #1), as well as in his fight with Mosley, that he has plenty of ability to box patiently.

When Judah, Castillo, and De La Hoya had success against Mayweather, it was in forcing Mayweather to fight against a patient opponent. Mosley had similar success early, but then thought he needed to follow up the round 2 dazing with pressure, which ultimately did him in.

Pressure is bad against Mayweather. You back up, and make him come to you.

Cuz Mosley won 5 straight fights before he fought Cotto. You could argue 6 because Wright 2 was a solid close fight.

His only losses were to Forrest and Wright which were style problems for him.

The glove size just means a Floyd 12 round clinic. I'm thinking 116-112 at worst

How do we know he was harder hitting? He only landed a couple of hard punches in round 2 then was thoroughly dominated. He was nullified from even displaying his power whereas when Mosley fought cotto, cottos lack of superior speed and defense allowed Mosley to land more punches which displayed his power over the course of 12 rounds continuously landing punches. Mayweather had shane confused as how to defend an attack and how to effectively apply your offensive attAck. Mosley was probably just as strong if not stronger when he fought mayweather even if he was older. Mosley was like 1 fight removed removed from fighting at 154lbs and was getting readjusted to the ww division. Mayweather fought Mosley after he beasted the iron chinned margarito.

The biggest issue is "WHY IS CHICKEN FLOYD SCARED TO DEATH TO FIGHT THE GREAT MANNY PACQUIAO?". If the chicken really consider himself as a good boxer then why is he not fighting the best in the division?

He is technically fighting the best in the division. Cotto is ranked #1 at 154 by a lot of people
