I think ****m would have been wrong for Mosley back then. Shane needed someone to teach him defense, counter punching and foot movement. Mosley for sure could have beaten Cotto but he came out fighting Cotto's fight and realized it too late.

Many things you say are spot on. Some I don't agree with.
SSM had several plans and he used them all. He was clearly frustrated because any mode he went to, he stayed a step behind Cotto. The ******* jab in his grill all night didn't help matters either. In the latter rounds, Cotto "coasted" but he was the effective boxer.. Shane was chasing him, trying to land bombs. Cotto outslugged him, outboxed and outsmarted him. Nazeem would not have changed anything that night, I believe you are correct there. Was it close? Sure it was. As you stated, Cotto did enough to win.

All the unreasonable floydies need to get a grip of themselves. Historically the fighters have been seen as what they are, Floyd the boxer and Cotto the brawler. Cotto has integrated more of his boxing skills and less brawling, but he is still a brawler at heart. Many arguments can be made as to who the bigger gloves benefit. I really don't care what gloves, shoes or trunks they were, whichever is the superior combatant will win. IF it comes down to gloves, maybe the "All mighty KO artist Pretty Boy" isn't as great as his nut lovers wish to claim.

            Cotto fought a name..
Dude you can't be serious.. Mosley fought a Margarito WITH NO PLASTER
Floyd fought a Shane that was rusty after about 90 months, that beat a Plasterless Margarito, what is your issue here? You cannot win that argument. Make the rest of the calculations yourself IF you have common sense.

That's easy, money split problems. Pac want's triple of what he normally gets, while Floyd want's what he always gets.

Not mention Pac is NOT the best in the division! The real question that is constantly ignored is, why didn't Pac agree to PED a few years ago when that was the only issue ? I do think Floyd is being a jackass by not even splitting the PPV in some form or another. I do however understand that Pac has not made 40 mil for a fight and this would be his biggest payday. Plus, I see Floyd doing this to cause a riff between Arum and Pac. But to only blame one of them for this fight is ******. If Pac was smart and dumped Arum's crooked ass, this fight would be done in a New York Minute!

In my opinion, if Shane would have applied the pressure early on in the fight then the fight would have been different.
